The current version of Punch Copy/Paste does not appear to be downloading. I've double-clicked, left-clicked and nothing happens. The Nyquist Prompt for ACX Check downloaded perfectly as did updating to 2.4.2. I am on a Mac. Thoughts???
Hi there! I watched your video! Very useful! I am going crazy with the room tone because my homwe recording studio it seems to be so silent that ACX text keeps saying it sounds unnatural... What could I do to add noise??? On 7 files, 5 are ok and 2 are driving me crazy... Don't understand why they are different from the other! I tried to record a 3 second of room tone and paste to the file... On 5 worked on the other 2 no. Plus, if I keep adding the db is -233!!! and more... Please give a hint!!! Thanks!!!
Hey. Sometimes making it too silent isn't good either, they want it to be natural, but shouldn't be picking up planes, cars, fans, etc. Honestly I've never added noise, so I am not sure. It might be easiest to jump into one of the facebook groups, and see if anyone can take a listen and help direct you. Sorry.
@@techfornontechies Hi there! I found the solution: I recorded 3 second of my room tone with Logic and then copy and paste to every file and it worked. Sometime it still gives my trouble with the RMS but this depends from the exporting ... Btw thank you so much to take the timer to answer me back! I do really appreciate it! I love to leave here my website in case you wish to see my work! www.soniavoiceforyou.com Greetings from Italy!
Instead of repeatedly pasting room tone, you can use an audacity plug-in called punch copy/paste. It will paste as much room tone or as little as you need back to back by just highlighting where you want paste. You can also paste room tone between words and sentences to paste over breaths or mouth clicks. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TbAfVZ6xJ4o.html
Hi yes I too am looking for this. My room tone is too low for the ACX, I have 11 chapters to fix, thought if below -60 that jt didn’t matter how much lower! Created in logicpro and imported to Audacity for ACX Test.
If you gonna make a tutorial, first learn, then teach.. Sorry for the harsh comment, but when you copied-pasted like that, it showed that you don't know basic stuff of the program...
Thanks for the feedback. Please feel free to share other ways to copy and paste for people. I find this to be an easy way to explain to non-techy people, but people can always benefit from more knowledge as I know there are other ways.
