Salted duck eggs as a soup base?
Yes! How to use salted duck eggs to make a delicious, smooth, and milky soup base.
Here's what you'll need for this soup base:
2 cooked salted duck eggs
3 pieces of garlic, diced
1 fresh whole onion, diced
10 cups of water.
In your pot with some oil, brown the onions and garlic on medium heat. Peel your salted duck eggs and break up into very small pieces, allowing the yolk to melt. Add in your water, cover, and let boil for 10 minutes.
Additionally, I added napa cabbage, green bean vermicelli, and fresh tofu for a complete one-pot soup dinner for the whole family!
