Hi how to i save button click change for background color change when user click 1 button. change color of layout background and then it save to shared preferences
I got , base on tutorial , you can save your background color as pair string key in shared and then in onCreate set your background from shared, in the tutorial we call/read data when click on a button but you can call/read your data from shared directly from onCreate, if any question feel free to ask
Hi, great video with grater content. Can you please explain me, if it is possible to adapt this to a recycler view? And if it is where should I put the getString() method? I have a recycler view that is showing images and all of them have a star to make it 'favourite', only one can be visible but when i turn the device the star is disappearing. Can we solve this with shared preferences?
Hi if you want to have fav list , you should work with room, save your fav item into database .each time ,when your app , runs , it can check database for showing the fav items . datastore or shared pref is not good solution 🙂
