Hi, im a relatively new player of Custodes and Warhammer 40k, started at the 10th edition. Recently played in my first tournament and with army i was able to get got 0-3, 3 loses. I count that as a valuable experience but it kinda hurt at some units were very bad. After that i started reaserching more into how to play custodes and what units are actually good instead of just what does look good and i came across your channel. Now ive already watched a few of your videos and i understand a lot more. I want to thank you for this bec it helps me a lot. Ive also subscribed hoping to see more of such content. Maybe one day ill be able to win a tournament. For now i know i have to buy lots of models... And forge world doesnt make me happy.
I'm learning so much as a new-ish player with a Custodian army. Thank you. I have a 2v2 match tomorrow, so I'm for sure gonna try an implement that tactic with my Sisters of Silence.
I always take 5 Vigilators with aleya and my home objective is not really in trouble unless you Dedicate something to it i will never forget that my 5 sisters lead with aleya actually beat the lion when he tried to take my home objective with aleya actually have 2 devesting and 1 Vigilator have a devastating he failed 1 save and died also them having a -1 to hit at range and un combat is + in my book making most thing hit on 3's or 4's
I like to put a 'Custodes' unit on home turn one and sticky it. Then as long as the enemy doesn't have 3" deep strike you can bubble out even better with the Sisters, and won't give up anything for killing them on an objective.
So one question thinking of what you mentioned vigilator squad with centuria and rhino too much, how about no rhino just put that squad in reserves and well is a 7" charge instead of 9 like regular termis or guards also this is at 190 for 9 plus centuria or 200 for the full unit? I know they will die fast, but they can be scary in some situations...
