This is how to use smart cruise control and lane departure warning on a 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe. Come check out the real Hyundai Guys, Eduardo Aragon and Josh Burleigh www.kelownhyundai.com and see how safe these vehicles really are.
There are a few limitations to the SCC in slow traffic, so always be ready to react. For instance, the system cannot operate if you take a 90 deg turn, also the system gets confused at low speeds if the car in front of you changes lines or if you change line as well. When the system gets confused it may brake all of a sudden, so be ready to react.
Hi Eduardo: I have the 2016 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid with the Ultimate Package, which includes the Smart Cruise Control. Do you know why the 2016 Sonata Hybrid does not have the Automatic Emergency Braking feature when the non-hybrid 2016 Sonata with Ultimate Package does? It does have Forward Collision Warning. I've asked my local dealer and Hyundai Customer Service about this. All they tell me is the hybrid model doesn't have it.
