You Rock Mr Aaron, I do a lot of studio work on a white background and with a lot of black people. most of them have a lot of shine on their faces and they mostly complain about that (created by the flash of the studio lights and the oil on their skins) It becomes quite a problem to try and edit that, if you remove the shine the photo looks flat. I would love an episode where you cover the editing I love your tutorials and you are a master in showing us how to do things
I have been Looking and Looking and Looking and Looking for this effect for so long. I made a really killer album cover with this Spin Blur effect and then I couldn't find it forever until now!!!!!YEEEHAAAAA!
Took a picture of a P51 flying by in an airshow but I forgot to slow my shutter down and it just froze the propeller. This saved those pics. Thanks Aaron.
if u don't mind can u make a video on how to blur background for wildlife photography like birds I'm a wildlife photographer and i have a lot of beautiful photos but my problem is with the background thank you so much
so i got the link to this video in my mailbox today (july 28, 2016), but youtube claims that it was uploaded on the 14th of july. This video also does not show up in the Phlearn RU-vid Channel under 'Uploads' . In fact, it does not even show up in my search results when i search for this video in youtube. It seems to be a private video you can only access through the newsletter or through the Phlearn website. Other than that weirdness, great tutorial as always :p
Idk, I just got the notification on my phone and it says "published July 28th..." and other than being subscribed to their channel I'm not a private party.
sir can u make a tutorial in which u show us how to make mirror reflection of car same like u used the car in this tutorial.... waiting for the next tutorial fulfilling my request thank you
Actually reflection like this one cannot be done in Photoshop. Of course you still can use 3d feature in Ps (which I'm not really sure is enough powerful to do this too) or simply paint it with a graphic tablet or whatever method you like. But in general, if this car had no reflection under it, you couldn't do it by simple copy>paste>transform manipulation because the camera angle wouldn't let you do this, I mean it's not laying on the ground to capture all the car parts which you would have to show in the reflection.
^Wrong xD this guy needs more experience lol there are plenty of other tutorials that can show you how to do reflections like this lol. do some searchers to find a youtuber that breaks it down to the level you need for reflections.
in the pic that Phlearn is editing, the shadow and the undercarriage are both shopped in. You can see the shadow if you have knowledge on how to properly shop shadows and the undercarriage is digitally painted in as the gray tonal values under the car. The reflection was put in post of the picture being taken.
UndahCovah I mean if you want to make a reflection that looks proper - then you have to render it in 3d, but this reflection and shadow not just look unrealistic, they look wrong. I've didn't noticed this for the first time I've watched this tutorial (so that's why I've said what I've said),but now I see that it's definitely photoshopped. So if you want to make reflection and shadow like the one from this tutorial - you definitely can do this in Ps.
Hey Aron, missed you longer movie poster tutorials, can you please make a Suicide Squad style poster, there are so many cool designer and photoshop techniques we could learn :)
To me the wheel blur must match what the human eye would see it on a moving car. There is none at very low speeds. At higher speeds, the spokes disappear, but the rotors and calipers do not and are not blurred. The rotational blur in PS blurs everything, including the calipers, which isn't the way it looks in real life. The only really way to get this is with good panning technique in camera. Every pro who shoots cars will tell you the same, and is why they rip film in moving car shots -- you maybe get one out of ten that work. PS is fabulous for a lot of things -- just not this.
