Can I ask what tool you're using to make the large dots (the center, etc.)? Also what surface are you painting? How do you apply this to irregularly shaped rocks?

This is a good guideline of using this stencil, but you only show a bit of this stencil in beginning. I get confused as to how it expands when you show already completed result. can you show - complete the mandala dot painting step by step using this stencil till end ? it would be helpful as a complete guideline. pls. regards and thanks.
Hi Nancy, It depends what dotting stencils you mean. To be honest many stencils that are advertised as dotting stencils by different sellers don't do this art and the stencils aren't much benefit. I know @Fairmaidenmarket uses a lot of stencils so you may want to look at her website or social media channels.

Thank you so much for this video! I ordered those Mandela stencils but they came with absolutely no instructions on how to use them. I kind of expected them to arrive with the specific patterns already mapped out. And since RU-vid is a great resource for anything you don't know how to do, I hopped over here and you were the first video that popped up.

What a lovely video ... thank you so very much. Is it possible to buy marked silicone stencils? It will be great to use on marking and dotting mandalas on stones that has a slight round surface, for the silicone mat can not shift as plastic stencils do.

That's awesome I am just getting ready to start dotting so the beginner stencils will come in so handy. Have to wait until next month disability doesn't leave much after pay my bills got me something for my adult coloring this month so nothing left but if not too expensive love to get your dotting tools sometime have seen several dotters using them and talk about how much they love them I only have $20 each month left to buy anything with or buy clothes whichever I need. Having back surgery end of the month be played up a couple months so hopefully next month I can order your stencil to start practicing dotting with. Got my basic supplies and got rheumatoid nodules on my elbows caused nerve compression which caused terrible pain from elbows to hands so haven't been able to start yet.😔 hopefully soon I can. Can't wait. Just wanted to say Thank you for all you do for us. I have saved all your videos once I can start can follow along try to make my own look close to yours. And for creating such a Amazing company have to watch your video again brain quit working when I got sick in the 90's Lol can't remember anything anyway know you are a charity I think you said that is Amazing you are so kind to help others like you do, and for teaching us how to do different techniques for dotting. Going to practice on cardboard until I get better i bought some 3x3 or 4x4 canvas once get better can use the beginner stencils on them and on the cardboard too. Love the walk the dog one especially hopefully can figure out how to do it. Do you have a book that teaches you different designs by chance? Or like a step by step one? @@HappyDottingCompany No, I have the stencils for this one, but as I was watching the video & finding the colors for the first one, it got cut off & you featured another piece to demonstrate cleaning off the chalk lines without showing anything about doing a finished piece with either one. Both are lovely!
i have issues getting my paint to lay down in those nice perfect circles tho. I have tried with and without paint pouring medium and messing around with the thickness levels. Just seems to want to spread out into an oval lol . Grr lol
I had that issue, Seems I was not holding my tools strait up an down. I figured it out today an moved to a lower table an poof fine now. (I am short lol) If your just a little snippit tilted you get ovals. Keep practicing you will get it!!
it is gorgeous but she stopped after the walking the dots on the 3rd line and jumps to a totally different mandala thats not the same, grrrr i was doing it as she was now bam nothing to finish that one
