Love your videos! Can you please make one on using “contar” in all the many ways it’s used? For instance, in addition to the normal use, there’s the phrase “Cuesta mucho” has the metaphorical meaning of something being very difficult. Thank you!

Been with you for a long time Dr Danny and keep coming back. Great lessons. Thankyou! Was always led to believe there is no way to say 'get' in Spanish. Vaya! - Acabo de encontrar ' Conseguir' ??? Me he perdido algo?

Hi, language tutor, you're right, "todavía" is used exclusively in everyday conversations exactly the way you explained it 😀 Very rarely will you hear people using "aun", that's more for books, literature, the news, lectures. I love the way you finished the video using "paz y bendiciones", you sounded like native speakers, very culturally aware 👍

I think there some verbs that can function as "still" I just observed it when I'm watching some spanish movies like, seguir, (I am pretty sure quedar as well) for example Do you still walk around the park? "Sigues caminar en torno al parque?" correct me if I'm wrong though 😅
@javcrc1
@javcrc1 Год назад
hi, the right translation for "Do you still walk around the park?" would be "Todavía caminas por el parque" or "Aún sigues caminando por el parque"

Ok, let me be the class clown. It has been many many years. El Leon se esta sin gas (because, el agua sin gas , is “still” water) Prefiero el agua quieto (because quieto means still).

"Aún que" needs be explained (introducing a concessive clause and followed by the subjunctive mode) "Aún que te quiebre la vida, ne esperes una ajuda..." Although life is destroying you, don't count on a help... "Aún que fuera muy tarde, decidieran salir...

Both examples of "aun" were actually "non aun" i.e not yet. I think your explanation would have been clearer had you pointed that out.

Hi @language tutor. Thanks for your assistance in providing good content for learning Spanish. I have a question. Are the lessons you put you publish best learned if they are learned from lesson 1 to the present or if there is no particular level. My current level is beginner to intermediate (I can hold solid basic conversation in Spanish). However, I want to strengthen my base and start from the beginning to relearn these concepts and establish some consistency in my Spanish learning routine. With that said, does it make sense to format my learning where I go from the lessons in the beginning to the present as my learning structure with my beginning to intermediate level. Any advice is appreciated as I would like to become more proficient in Spanish
