This is one of the first implements that I've had to 'manually' hook up to a tractor 3 point implement. This is because I have been using a quick attach tractor attachment for many years now. However, in today's episode I borrowed a DIY custom made tractor implement, a field crimper that I will be using. So for this case, I will be hooking up a 3 point implement manually. And coincidentally, I have used the telescoping 3 point lower hitch arms twice in the last week, so I will show you both examples of how these telescoping 3 point hitch arms made hooking up the 3 point implement much easier! One of the best things that I learned with the telescoping 3 point hitch arms and why they make hooking up 3 point implements easier is that you can slide them in and out while hooking up your 3 point implement so that even if the implement is not fully lined up evenly you can slide them in and out to compensate for that uneveness! And it works pretty well! The tractor I am using today is my new 2023 Kioti NS6010 hst cab compact tractor as I try another land management food plot experiment with this DIY field crimper.
