Have you broken or chipped a tooth during COVID-19? Bupa Dental Care dentist, Tariq Bashir, demonstrates how to use temporary filling material, at home, to repair a tooth while you can't visit your dentist.
Thank you .. I've been telling my mom about my tooth ache for months now and she's not taking me to the dentist (I'm obviously a minor) and I'm suffering from teeth pain right now so i hope this works
Same, my father brought my sister to dentist for her teeth braces, but me suffering from tooth cavity and crooked teeth but my father ignores it. Im suffering for years til now i couldnt eat properly and alot, i only bite on the other side cos i always avoiding it, it turns out im afraid of eating. I ended up working alone get paid and fix my own teeth instead of finishing studying, i blame my father so much for his unhospitality
Hi Butt Crack, if you're registered don't wait for your mom. Make the call yourself. The pain is usually caused by infection so you'll need antibiotics as well as filling. Thanks to COVID, I've been waiting 2 years for an appointment. In that time I've seen the emergency dentist twice but they only use temp fillings.
Bro see a dentist. Idk why this dentist is promoting this garbage. As a dentist, you need to see a dentist to treat your tooth otherwise you'll end up losing it. Don't buy these stupid items. They're literally buy you a couple of week tops. What is reversible can end up becoming irreversible and requiring an RCT or exo. See a dentist u nub
@ByeliyMyech im a female (minor) w strict parents how the hell am i supposed to go by myself .. I'm just begging to get a broom stick broken on my back :)
@@TAESBUTCRACK I don't know what country you live in...but in Australia and Europe there are dental school buses that provide FREE dental services to children.
it's 1.30 am and I'm in agony, I can't buy the tooth filling cement until the chemist opens in the morning but I'm desperate is there anything I can use to fill my tooth till the morning and ease this agony any tips will be very appreciated 😢
@@ByeliyMyechthis persons comment was from a year ago. If you’re looking for a new dentist it is literally impossible to get an appointment even for emergencies. I’ve got a cracked open tooth and made 7 calls. 2 didn’t take my insurance the other 5 don’t have appointments for the next 3-6 months. Sometimes it’s a lot easier said than done.
@@ByeliyMyech This "garbage" is for when your tooth has just either broken or you've found a cavity before it has gotten infected. There is no way of getting rid of the tooth pain without the dentist opening up your tooth once it is already infected.
@@ByeliyMyech The dude asked this in the middle of a time period where Dentists weren't see any or very many patients and that is also the context of the video. Replying to things that are over 2 years old is a bit fruitless either way.
I'm on duty in marines, not able to reach a doctor, I have Plaster of Paris and zinc oxide powder, can I use it for my temporary dental filling as my filling has been fallen, and it's causing pain.. Plz help
Hi. Do you have zinc oxide liquid also? Usually, dentists don't use plaster in patient's teeth, that is for other uses. If you have zinc oxide liquid, you can mix these two like chewing gum consistency and push it in the missing part.
My filling is on the side getting bad but me being a NHS patient what was meant to be 3 months turned into twelve still got a few months to wait will this work as me and infections mix being allergic to most antibiotics
Hi Arun, our clinical team have said that any temporary filing material over the counter is fine to use. Please do contact your dental practice though for more information and to book a check-up.
