Some have a partial fix to this by having multiple codes it slowly replaces (by rolling) so if a code is sent from the fob and not received and the fob generated a new key it will still work, but only a couple of times and then it will be too out of sync and even though it has multiple codes now would work. I explained that horribly but I know what I'm talking about trust me, or don't. I studied it in AP Comp Sci Principles
Just to add to this.... there's ways of resetting your key fob IF this happens. Just lookup the steps BEFORE messing around so you're better prepared incase things go wrong.
Literally bought a flipper to try to copy the exact same key from the apartment and it doesn’t work at all, good thing is that i sold the flipper for $260 when it was expensive
@@BobsTheBuild3rNo he really didnt. Flipper zero has cool custom firmware and includes things you would normally have to either solder on to the rpi or write some code for. In the end, you would spend hours making the rpi have the same functionality
@@dakotaclement7751yeah all good. I'm not bitter. I've been a phreak since 1994. If flipper could be used maliciously it would not be freely sold. Flipper is just simplified because it's all in one. But the individual tasks performed by each function can be purchased on individual devices via Amazon, Ebay. If a garage door opens with a flipper, it just means that the garage door is 20 years old. If you can open a car with a flipper, it means that the car is old. I like the flipper, but I just don't want people to think they are going to be James Bond with it. 😎
