Your caption reads 26ft ladder but when you have it on a A-Frame your measurements read 10 ft and 7in when - you extended fully that would equal = 21 and 4in. Is it possible that what you have is a 22 ft ladder? Thank you.
The 21ft 4 inches is the maximum height to the top rung when fully extended at the proper angle. The 26ft refers to maximum reach, which includes the height you can reach when standing on the the 3rd rung from the top.
No shit the way they advertise it that it’s 26 feet high. Wow that’s incredible to sell a product and make everybody believe that it’s 26 foot long but it’s quite not that long until you get up on the top run with the extra five or 6 feet tall that you are. That’s some shenanigans shit.
@@JB-iw3ui ALL extension ladders are sold that way-- max reach. That's obnoxious for most of us whose first "real" ladder is a 6' ladder, which is actually 6 feet tall. I own the same ladder. It's a bit heavy, but it's great, and it's easy to handle in any of its configurations.
