How to Use the Ames Lettering Guide 

I enjoyed this video! I used this very same (and truly marvelous) Staedtler Lettering Guide nearly 50 years ago while working on my engineering degree and many years later as well. I am certain that it's somewhere "buried" in the very back of my desk drawer and needs (yes: needs!) to be brought back to a useful life. Your video brought back some mighty pleasant memories. Your instructions were succinct, on point and very understandable. Thanks and a Big Smile! ps: I also note that you carry the same (and extremely useful) Eraser Shield that I used way back then as well as some Ship Curves, a T-Square and I'm sure many more memory-lane items.

The lettering guide moves out of place when sliding it along my t-square. I have the same t-square you have. Is there a special way to hold the lettering guide?
