Friendly reminder that in your spike example at the end you did it wrong. you can not see the ground spikes because the other one is overlapping it, but you can kind of see it from the glow overlapping. What went wrong is that in the edge template you added spikes in the block that had *dashed outlines* the fix in this example would be flipping X on the spikes (both edges) and removing the symmetrical ground spike. Only use one and put the one in the full block. Hopefully my horrible wording somewhat helped anyone. I’m happy to answer questions in the replies ^^"
Um Actually your scientific theory for the ground spike of Geometrical Run is also wrong, you need to be a genius to understand what you're talking about. Yayayayayayayayayayayyayay
I love how he says “do you guys know why this doesn’t work” to make sure we are paying attention, also it makes it feel like I’m in a classroom and I honestly love that, if you continue guides in this style it’ll help a lot, I’m a visual/video learner, so viprin and autonicks guide is hard for me to use so these videos are amazing, keep going man!
@@arandomperso4438 school doesnt "suck" its just horribly executed, plus a good teacher can teach any subject and make you feel interested and like the subject
could you maybe do a tutorial on something like the spawn trigger next? i used to know how, but with the interface change i cant seem to figure things out.
@@shuri7701you’re not the only one who’s had trouble, I’ve made mini games and stuff in 2.1, I am absolutely confused with 2.2. And my muscle memory on what buttons to click has been messing me up. Love the update tho and it’s fun to learn this stuff
I do love the new Auto-Build system. However lots of the new pixel designs don't have enough variations to use in the templates. And are way to complex to be made by hand. Hopefully rob improves this in the future though. Great tutorial!
It seems like a lot of people are getting confused with 11:27, so let me clear some things up. You place the corner blocks as they are with the one on the bottom. You'll see that the blank block with 2 corners doesn't exist in the editor. You have to make your own corners. For this you have to get a pixel in a very similar location to the blank block (much like the corner in the outlines, but bigger), place it and then click "edit object", then change it to "1", which should be purple. From there you simply place the corners as you wish. You can do this same method for the purple outlines as well, he solved that later in the video too.
Ok but this is seriously the best guide ever. I've been stuck on this for a while and everyone else has just seemed like gibberish, but this is easy to follow. Thanks :)
none of the other videos worked and there was so many comments saying thank you for helping get to work this video finally helped me thank you for teaching me step-by-step I respect you for actually being able to do it and you also made a video on your main channel that I really enjoyed watching
Thank you so much! I was individually clicking every single template thing in the browser and then filling them all out. I had no idea that paste template did that 💀
I would’ve taken hours to even build simple layouts without auto build but now I can save so much time and nobody’s told me any more detailed tutorials like you have XCG. All thanks you to.
WTH this is awesome! 2.2 has been out this long and I’ve never used this. I honestly thought it was delayed until 2.21 because of how hidden it is in the editor. I need to start using this ASAP because block deco is why my levels take so long to make
issue im having is the new pixel blocks dont have enough variations to even fit the template that is within the same update.........am i missing something?
Hey... What was the object that you used at 11:20? Edit: nevermind i watched a little further and found out that you just make it with the other objects
Well looks like what this is like a preset-deco for creating levels, reaaaally useful when you don´t know even the deco of your level and can help to finish it, i needed this for years, Thanks for the tuto and i hope what you get more subs cause you deserve them :D
Nice tutorial, but I have one question. When I tried to add glow, some of the glow blocks ended up misplaced. Did I do something wrong, or is this just a bug? (to be specific I used those glow blocks that take up half (or a quarter to be exact) of a normal block) Edit: fixed it the problem was that I had many different variations of many blocks so they were just being used at random
Im a bit stuck at 11:24 what did u use to fill the double corner purple outline, you skipped over it and iv looked everywhere in the menu to find it...
11:20 he just skips out on the bottom middle tile, theres no tile in that tile set that has only the bottom 2 corners. He doesnt tell you how to do it either, he just cuts it out
The auto build mode only works for really simple designs like the example u used sadly :( It does not work for more complex stuff such as when I tried to implement my glow design.
I've been trying to make my first ever level using newest system, but I've lost myself now. But that I watched whole video to learn to use auto system. Now I've get it, I made quite mistake. But it'll all be solved now thanks to this video ❤❤
What block did you use for 11:20 ? I couldn’t find how to do it because you edited that part out. I thought this was supposed to be an “every click tutorial” like you said at the beginning :/
Hey X, uhm, whenever i use this, i follow it exactly but when i try to place a certain structure, the outline bugs out an doesnt seem to work (it will move positions slightly where its not supposed to be), do you have a solution?
Thank you so much!.. ..but for some reason I cant use any of the buttons on the right since i havent since November?? I cant use copypaste of edit object!!
Create the full animation (for exemple a bloc move forward, then backward to it's original place), select them both (the move triggers), click esc and click create loop
legit best gd youtuber… i dont rlly enjoy ppl doing daily content just beating levels but i rlly like people building for some reason WcreatorGoal as always #WcreatorGoal
"ok im going to show the whole screen and go click by click so no one gets lost" *puts a giant subscribe button over what he is doing for the entire duration of the step*
This is a great tutorial but just before 11:24 there was a cut in the video and I’m not sure what you did and I can’t find a block that looks like that
