Sir can you pls do this question [Tan(Theta )= 1/-√3]. Actually i did this but i am getting -30 degrees by calculator. But the the range is 0< or = Theta< or = 360
On the tan(3x-40) = 2 question, I keep getting the final and as 34.48, 94.48, and 157.48. I don't understand the error, could you pls explain @MathsDeity
To avoid mistakes you always change what is in the brackets eg sin (2θ + 20) into a single letter eg sin x In this case x = 2θ + 20. But we must now also change our range if it was 0< θ < 360 and we want x we need to times 2 then add 20 so range becomes 20 < x < 740. Once you have solve you sub x = 2θ + 20 back in and rearrange for θ. Is that what you were asking and did this help?
