If I had one wish, it would be to be able to forget that terrible period of time in my life. I too suffered from pretty serious acne, and I was subsequently left with severe scarring. Mine also extended onto my back and while I did have a great foundation for coverage, it often left my skin feeling oily. Plus, I was becoming susceptible to future breakouts. Luckily, I stumbled across the koi beauty A400 microneedling, which I had only heard great things about for acne scar treatment. Not only was it cheaper than the other treatment options I was looking into, but I had also started to see noticeable results after just a few sessions. After about 4-6 sessions, each spaced 3-4 months apart, my skin was smoother in texture and I am proud to say that I now feel confident leaving the house without foundation caked on my face!

This looks way more efficient than the roller. I've tried the roller and it's horrible because first it hurts and second I'm positive the pressure I'm using is all over the place and third I'd always get nervous of the needles being sterilized enough and not causing a crazy skin infection.

Nice tips, but I don't think that using foundation immediately after piercing holes in my skin is a very good idea. I would think that would increase my risk of infection. Why not dermapen at night instead?

Hi..That is also my concern. How to make sure there will be no infection. What steps do we use to make sure that does not happen? I understand a new needling device is used every time, yes? This serum is it actually helping prevent infection?

I bought it on ebay 2 years ago... it is MyM brand/company from Singapure or China... but i think all of them are same so doesnt matter is the Name... :) it cost 100 british pounds then, i am not sureabout prices by now :)

I am a medical esthetician fir 15 year...Yes, bleeding indicates "intentional wound " which is the ONLY way the skin wilk repair it self to create new colkagen. Just like fractional laser and deep chemical peels which penetrate deeper and signal the collagen & fibroblasts to produce more - which is lacking in aging skin. Many false "claims" about Microneedling rollers which don't penetrate the dermis

This claim is FALSE. As DermaPen slides across the skin, the needles could be in their "down" position and penetrating the skin as the pen is being dragged across it. This is actually EVEN MORE DAMAGING than using a roller. 1:20 is a completely inaccurate illustration. It shows the skin surface behaving like a block of immovable cheese and a needle digging "trenches" through it. However, skin is very elastic. Notice at 1:10 when she drags the pen across her face how the skin is so elastic that it folds and wrinkles up in the direction the pen is being pushed. Now, she's basically stretching the skin while poking holes in it. Look at the rest of the motions and how the pen is stretching the skin as she drags it across her face. That's even more damaging than a roller. A roller never stretches pushes the skin into folds and wrinkles.

Jenayelle Get the roller. I've used the roller for a few months, twice a week, and have seen such INCREDIBLE results thus far. Caroline is correct, the pen is more damaging than the roller since it is practically dragged across the skin. With the roller, it is recommended to use a .5mm or bigger to see results... anything smaller will take months or you may not even see results ever. I use a 1.0mm dermaroller. It hurts, and you do indeed bleed, but the results are incredible and the pain is surely durable.

Jordan hi jordan.. So you've used a 1mm dermaroller for twice a week? So, how can your skin heal faster from the first session before you proceed to the second session in a week?

sho chan My skin healed fully immediately the first time. Small scabs and all. I did it monday and Friday. The second time I did it, it took a little while longer to fully heal. So based on that i have changed my routine to once a month. I rather give it more than enough time to heal rather than too little. You can cause all sorts of problems and infections. My skin however felt absolutely incredible after using the derma roller twice, and all the peeling went away. Light exfoiliation and using amazing Vitamin C Serums, my skin has never looked better. A lot of my redness has gone away too, which is incredible becauae i have suffered with a slight case of eczema due to having acne for years (my skin is currently clear, but let's not jinx it).

I tried this treatment which left me with deep scarring and more holes on my face. The effects you see in her face making her look plump and tightened is the effect of micro swelling. Whenever trauma is induced in the skin like this treatment that involves needles, it would cause your skin to swell for a couple of days giving the appearance of tightened and swollen skin making your scarring less visible. You would really notice the results immediately but it's only temporary. When the swelling subsides, your skin would be back to normal and you would see more deep scarring. This treatment involves pricking needles into your skin to induce collagen production but when the remodeling occurs, it's as if the needle pricks produce more scars. These needles would leave more marks in your face.So be very careful. Lasers are better in treating deep acne scarring.

Cyber Geek Cyber Geek I don't think that could happen cuz if u use ur common sense u would know there's 90% chance your skin would get better after this treatment not worse. Please don't just give ur opinion because there r a lot of people out there who have problematic skin and want a cure..u commenting negative things would scare them away from trying this. I'm no expert, but I do know quite a bit about this topic and I have to comment on his being the worst demo Derma Pen information and supposed care given that I have came across- or lack of.. Please don't copy this demonstration and read up about cleansing before ( this is so important) also whilst doing Derma Pen, and after.

It's November of 2019, I've read some of the comments on here. All I can say is too much. The nasty judgmental comments are sad and need to stop. Be merciful and kind always. if you think something bad, ask God to forgive you, don't write it on here. This is a tutorial, that's it. Women surely can't be this hateful in their hearts to say bad things about the person showing us how they use this product. Repent people, perfect is Jesus Christ and no one else. Humiliating people is against God, it's part of the 10 Commandments from God. You wouldn't want anyone to write about you or your loved ones like this. The comments are unnecessary and snobby. God doesn't like that, ever.

Did anyone else wonder why the model looks like she slept in her makeup? It looks like there is mascara smeared under her eyes. You would think somebody would suggest she wash her face before doing the video.
