Sir, I have been struggling for so long. Gradient meshes weren't doing what I wanted because moving the mesh intersections on borders were throwing things out of whack and free form gradient nodes were not blending how I wanted. Your demonstration of the Draw/Lines in Free Form Gradient was a watershed moment for me. I can now do what I was intending to do. Thank you so very much.
Holy crap, I thought there was a bug in Illustrator! I was wondering why my gradients were disappearing after I deselected them last night! Was so frustrating! Thanks for the tutorial!
Normally I am always the one having dysfuntions with Adobe softwares on my computer. But this time, I didn't have the gradients color switch (to linear gradient) when rotating my shapes like you do in the tutorial. I wonder why but it is rather a good news! Thanks for this great tuto.

Nathanial, Dunno if it's my version of CC-2019, CC-2019 as sold….or me. But … I have a hell of a time exporting my artwork with gradients made in cc-2019 for print. Until, two weeks ago, I contracted with another for my large graphics. It was a goat rope…so I was forced to sell the customer out of gradients. I suspect it’s me. Now I am a printer with a brand new Roland 54”. Prints like a dream but I digress. Please do a video of preparing artwork for printing. I know I’m missing something so other must be too! Love your work.
DOes anyonehave tips make this freeform gradient print reaady? I hardly can find proper info about this. I see some issues when its being opened in a lower version or other apps
I have Adobe Illustrator 2021 and the ,,Make Clipping Mask" thing just doesn't work, Idk why but it's already driving me nuts, such simple task and it can't just work? Anyone else with the same problem?
No such features on older versions of Ai. Especially CS6. Would love you come up with an alternative method for older versions please. Great tutorial. Much appreciated.
This is awesome thank you so much! I have a couple of questions you might be able to answer - I'm not having much luck figuring it out or finding an answer! Firstly - Is it possible to edit to reach of a freeform gradient point when it's in a line? Secondly - Is it possible to copy a freeform gradient path and reflect it to apply to the other half of the shape you're working on or to copy it and then apply it to another shape? Thank you! x
