I'm glad I sub to these sites so when even though my salesman ran through it. When he ran through it I was already somewhat familiar. My salesman at New Orleans Harley Davidson apparently new the system. Was able to link my phone right away. Thanks again.

I bought the tutorial video a few years back for my 2015 Ultra Limited. It’s worth the money guys a lot of good stuff. I’m sure this edition will be just as good and informative.

I have a 2021 Triglide and last weekend my wife and I were riding and using the wired headsets for intercom communications and everything worked fine. Bike has been parked in the garage untouched since then and now all of a sudden I can't hear her talking. She can hear me and the music. When I talk the INT light goes white but when talking into her headset, the INT light does not go white. I switched the headsets and the results are the same. When speaking into the passenger headset, whichever headset is securely plugged in to the armrest connection, the INT light will not turn white. I am totally baffled. I went through and checked for Radio error codes and there are none. Would you have any idea what could be going on here and/or what I could try? Thank you in advance!

My GTS system cuts out when I hit small bumps and when I hit larger bumps the screen just blacks out. Sometimes when it blacks out music will keep playing and sometimes it will just all shut down. Any ideas? Possible defective head unit? Thanks.

Is there a way to have the keyboard come up when searching for a song? (Iphone connected through bluetooth). I had a 2018 Ultra and when I clicked on a letter on the songs search, the keyboard would pop up and I could type the first letter of the song and those songs would come up. But with my 2019 CVO Streetglide, the keyboard doesn't come up. Each letter shows on the right side of the screen as I scroll. I have to scroll through all songs in alphabetical order (with 1200 + songs) and it takes a while to get through them all. Maybe some different setting on my bike???? I hope there is a simple fix for this.

I have an interesting issue. I own a 2019 FLHTKSE which comes with the WHIM module and HD branded Sena S20. Also, I own a Garmin Zumo 665 with XM radio puck. I have a lifetime subscription to XM on this puck. To keep the story short, I have no problem using the WHIM with S20 headsets. A few little glitches but it works as described. I have the Zumo and XM mounted to the right handle bar near the front brake master cylinder. It works fine as well on the bike speakers connected via hard wire using the AUX wiring pigtail. BUT, as soon as I turn on a headset and it pairs to the Boom audio, the XM signal fades and disappears. It is sometimes 10% of what it should be but usually completely gone. It the XM does get a faint signal, then the second S20 (wife's headset) wipes it completely. Turn them off and the signal returns. I have tested this with two XM pucks, two Zumo 665 GPSs and even two mounting brackets. I can duplicate the problem 100% of the time. HD dealer says they cant help as the GPS is not their product. Garmin says no because the GPS has been discontinued.

I purchased the video. Very detailed. My question is when I connect my iPhone to carplay can I hook my phone bluetooth to the headset I already own to listen to music and receive phone calls?

You can pair your phone directly with your Bluetooth headset if you choose. But if you try and pair your headset with both the WHIM/Boom Box and the headset directly, you'll always have issues with fighting over the Bluetooth.

I just purchased a 2020 Road Glide Special and will have to take it into the dealership to have them flash the bike to recognize my iPhone. Then I hope to plug the phone into the bike to take advantage of apple car play. Then hook my headset to the phone via bluetooth. Hope it works.

@@RyanUrlacher I purchased the video yesterday. Question - is there a good half helmet headset to use with my new GTS system? I see the Harley stamped full helmet, but not anything 30k or 20S for a half helmet. Thanks!

well since I ride mostly with my wife, I went ahead and paid the Harley tax. I bought the whim and a pair of 30k Senas. I set them up and updated the software as instructed in the video. Sitting in the garage everything seemed fine. Out on the road, another story. My wifes headset mic seems to always be hot. we discovered it was hers by covering the outside of the mic with our hands. I checked the settings for sensitivity and they both seemed to be set the same. After adjusting I still cant seem to get her mic to be less sensitive than mine. Is there separate controls or once they are connected there is common control from the BBox ? Battery life was only a little over 4 hours with a constant hot mic...and no music.

I am wondering how I can restore my radio preset buttons. I originally had the option to preset 15 radio stations on the Boom GTS and somehow I now only have the option to preset 5 stations. Can you tell me how to restore this back to 15? I own a 2020 Street Glide. Thank you, Maria

Ryan is there another video to purchase for the GTS in a series? I've purchased the first one. Can you send me the link to the next video. I didn't see where to reset the mileage from service. I stumbled on to a video that shows not only how to reset the mileage but also there was a speaker test (Boom Audio II with 6 Speakers 3 Amps) I was able to test my speakers and found that even though there was sound coming from the speakers only the Tweeters were working. After testing found measurements exceeded the 2.0 amp rated at the woofers in the speakers. Thanks

I have viewed the new GTS system video, but have a question. How do I get back to CarPlay if I leave it after plugging my phone in and it comes up? I hope that is understandable. Once again, after plugging in my phone and CarPlay comes up if I leave CarPlay how do I get back to it without unplugging my phone and plugging back in. Thank you.

How about the Freedom microphone ? external microphone that plugs on the 7 pin plug . Supposedly you don’t need a headset, since the sound comes out the speakers . Have you seen it or tried it ?

Ryan Urlacher seems to be the thing for people like me who don’t like headsets , was just checking to see if it really works before I buy one. My iPhone come threw the radio speakers , just wanted an external microphone.

Hello Ryan, I bought the video and it helped out a great deal thank you! I have one ? I have the Harley 30K it came with my bike, I cannot get the Sena app on my iPhone to recognize the H-D 30K any ideas?

You have to directly pair your headset to your phone, which would then go around the Boom Box? You have full access to the Sena app menu items within your Boom Box once paired.

I have heard rumors but do you know if this is true. 2019 Road Glide Ultra, If I buy the Sena Freewire, plug in the 7 pin, can I use a non sean ie. Cardo headset and get wireless without the WHIM?

Yes, been that way for a long time back to even 2014 models and on. We've done several videos on it on this RU-vid channel. Make sure to sub if you haven't ==> goo.gl/EtxUnW.
