Here is one way I followed your video tutorial. I opened my Medium editor on my chromebook, I played your video on my cell phone and hit pause. I went to my editor and followed your steps. Everything worked as you demonstrated. Thank you for all your help. .

I greatly appreciate this tutorial on the Medium editor, I had been trying to figure out the kicker (among other things), so THANK YOU!! On a personal note, I found your channel when looking for tutorials related to Medium a little over a year ago. There were several channels that came up in the search, and they all offered decent advice. Some may even be a bit more polished in their delivery of the content, and I'm certain that they worked very hard to achieve that very professional style for their videos. Not one of your colleagues got me to "hit that subscribe button" however. The reason I 'm still following your channel is really quite simple - sincerity. You're genuinely a kind & caring human being. You make mistakes, but don't reshoot to try to appear perfect, and I find that so incredibly endearing!! Your personality is really and truly AWESOME, and because of the bs I've dealt with in my life due to my level of authenticity, I find it's really important to me to reach out to the few others I come across who have that same ability to really just BE WHO THEY ARE! It is MUCH more difficult to stay true to who you are in this society, because the people who aren't quite as comfortable in their own skin do work harder to appear perfect, and often get ahead because of the extra hours spent polishing their final product. They may end up collecting more dollars than you do at the end of the day, and it does suck. However, when they finally do wash off their perfectly applied make-up, they have a much harder time looking at themselves in the mirror, because they haven't been genuine while they were wearing it. Honesty isn't prized the way it deserves to be, YET. I've been wandering around on this planet for nearly half a century trying to figure out how everything got to this not-so-fantastic state of fake news and political corruption, and I've finally found some answers and with them, ideas on how we transition from what we have now, to the honest and caring society people need to thrive. I know I still need to work on my run-on sentences, haha, but I'll get there. In the meantime, I'm going to start ACTUALLY PUBLISHING all of the stories I've been working on soon, and thanks to your help, they're going to be good enough (I hope) that my current inability to end a sentence will not totally destroy my credibility as a writer. I hope this damn comment does come across as "crazy cat lady" as I fear it may, but the bottom line is, YOU ROCK, haha!!

A few things there I didn't know. thank you. I don't really understand kickers and how you'd use them. Maybe a topic for another video? The code formatting was introduced recently and is really useful. They have enhanced it a bit since, and it's so much easier than using Github gists which is a pain.
Good. Other videos I've looked at are either like, 'First you start up your computer, then you start up your browser, then you type 'medium' into Google...' or 'I'm sitting here in front of my window looking at the sunset,' or 'Well, you know, like, nobody REALLY knows how to write a story, anyway...'

Thanks. The only issue is that it would be better if Medium did not offer these CoOol features or provided them comprehensively! For instance, there's no way to type a digit followed by a dot without being automatically converted into a numbered list. Similarly, you can create a bullet list, but you can't have a nested bullet list. etc... In my opinion, Medium has developed a rather limited platform that doesn't facilitate simple or professional writing.

Chat GPT must surely have had a huge impact on Medium as many can now just upload Chat GPT articles I assume. Kind of defeats the whole reading original content on Medium ideal
