This system works great. I have the Tulip and Rose. It some practice but overall very pleased. I hope they make more templates. All the templates a solid plastic, accurate and easy to figure out. 5 stars for me.

Wonder if hot melt glue would't be more effective and economical than double face tape?

Do I need to allow time for the glue to dry before routing the next pocket?

We would recommend that for best results, yes.

Question: With using tape to hold the templates down and then flipping them over for the mirrored side, doesn't the tape leave annoying sticky residue that causes your router to stick and not slide well?

Hi Wayne, I didn't have any issue with tape residue, though some will be present. I do like to wipe the templates clean with a little solvent to make sure the next round of tape sticks perfectly. Building instruments taught me to keep hands and templates clean in case something slipped or you made a fingerprint in a spot you can't sand it away.
