I'm happy with my current dsp plugins, I just want the harmonizer. I've been searching for a stand alone specifically for guitar, I'll post it if I find one.

I think you should consider a next complete new step and make a Neural DSP plugin for vocalists! Great preamp, saturation, eq, and of course a great algorithm to pitch correction and well...the multivoicer / harmonizer it's already done! You should think about that!!!!

Very cool option to remove an original DI sound. With that you may record a melody by single notes, then a remaind harmony without DI can be used as a backing track for your solo 👍

This is something Henson was already doing before this plugin. It's specific to him so unlikely to come to any other plugins. You can achieve similar outcomes using a daw though.

I’m pretty dumb when it comes to this stuff. So if you select A major and play a note outside the scale it won’t play harmony to it? If you select chromatic then it’ll harmonize any note at prefixed interval? If you select triad it’ll play a triad when you hit any note in the triad? If you play outside the triad or scale will it still play triad?

It’s actually not possible to exactly match Rich Kids with this plug-in because Tim used more than 4 extra voices to play Rich Kids.

I don't think there is a specific guitar pedal for it, it was essentially just a vocoder running through guitar and midi I think. There's a video where Tim explains it

Could you guys add some presets that mimic the sounds of actual Polyphia songs? Such as “Rich Kids” off their latest album? It would be a fantastic tool for writing Polyphia esc music.

If you go to new track, select empty channel strip, then In the mixer go to that track and where it says instrument go to the very bottom and select au midi controller -> archetype th, in the plug in I think your supposed to side chain it to the midi track, but I can’t figure it out it’s confusing

You set up the plugin as a software instrument and use the audio input as sidechain to trigger the sounds....

You can use the plugin without a daw but just can’t record anything obviously .. you can also stream the plug-in to discord if you want your friends to hear it

How do I route the midi to my guitar track? I click on the output under I/O and there’s no option for archetype, even if I search for it. Quite confused

Nice Video. Sounds ok with single notes. But sounds horrible with polyphonic chords. Eventide Quadravox sounds way better and has delay, I wish this plugin would replace it. Wish you guys would improve it in version 2. And maybe add more scales. I still bought it with black friday deal. I do like how they keep updating their plugins. I do like how they really try to push the envelope. Think I'm gonna sell my vintage fender champ for louder monitors. Keep up the good work! The amp heads look so sexy. I'm gonna make a custom midi controller amp head and maybe a custom midi pedal board to match.

What about releasing these pedals as stand alone. Depending on the pedals you want, you must load up to 3-4 NDSP plugins for one guitar, not taking the cabs into account. Silly!

@@cit0110 I had a supposedly "intelligent" harmonizer guitar pedal like 20 years ago, same concept but it obviously couldn't do midi at all, and didn't give much control over scales or anything... Plus it always sounded awful and slightly out-of-tune no matter how perfectly tuned my guitar was. A lot of old Steve Vai albums had some nice multi-voiced leads using an Eventide harmonizer, but I believe that was more of a rackmount type of unit, which was never within my budget back in those days. This is probably the cheapest and best-sounding option out there for us guitarists who still have day jobs.
