A walk through of the new voting machines being used in Berks County Pennsylvania starting November 5, 2019. To use the ExpressVote machines, you put a blank ballot card into the voting machine and make your selections on a touchscreen. The voting machine prints your choices on the ballot card, which you then feed into the tabulator to cast your vote. The new machines allow for a paper trail where the paper ballots can be counted by hand if needed.
