also the MORS is considered a railgun. uses electromagnetic "bolts" to shoot at incredible speeds. i believe railguns exist in experimental versions irl, but most notably in video games was the rorsch mk1 in bf4 that shot bolts at 3k+m/s.

Just use the largest barrel with explosive ammo and you'll see that the auto setting really doesn't matter much.

Yeah doesn’t matter too much but extra damage is extra damage. It still amazing without it but the goal was to make the best version.

Did you charge the sniper up with the aftermarket barrel?

You still have to try the charged shot variant of the sniper, it could be better at killing bosses.

A somewhat minor but fun pap ability is on the MP9/FJX Horus: You can sprint and fire at the same time, so I recommend a hip fire build

i dont think he charged or realized it was a charge barrel.

Doesn't work. Even when using the charge barrel it's still just full auto with no charge. From my testing I was getting the extra damage even without the charge part working atm.

Please check the options

He was using the charge barrel if you dont hold the trigger it does severely reduced damage with that barrel on

I actually learned this in physics in college at some point. I don’t remember the exact details either but when you run a current through a wire it generates a magnetic field that “circles it” and a rail gun is called a rail gun because it has 2 rails that act as wires that you run current through. The resulting magnetic field causes a force on the projectile between the two rails. I don’t understand the logic behind the directionn of the forces whatsoever but it’s a thing. The force is made stronger in two ways, by making the rails longer, or pushing a higher current through the rails. So it makes sense that a sniper with a long barrel would use this mechanism, but there is definitely a question that you added which is where is the MORS getting so much energy (current) to fire the rail gun Edit: the Gustav Cannon that the Germans made in WW2 was a rail gun with extremely long rails to generate a ton of force. Very impressive piece of technology that saw no usage

There's a battery in the stock, coilgun is more accurate for this weapon since it uses copper windings around the barrel to pull the slug through the barrel.

It literally says in the description of the gun that it’s a rail gun…..

I stated that I didn't think this should be nerfed. But I also want to set the expiations that if you want to grind this weapon do it now as everything good gets nerfed in zombies with enough time. Nerfing things in zombies doesn't help anyone.

Using the charge barrel and setting fire behavior to auto gives you more damage and lets you spam fire.
