💁‍♀️ HI I'M MELISSA MARIBEL
I help students pass Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. I used to struggle with this subject, so when I finally graduated with a bachelor's degree in Chemistry, I became a tutor so that you wouldn't have to struggle like I did. I know that with the right help, YOU CAN LEARN ANYTHING!

Your work is excellent. I have used a few in my classes. I just noticed that you reversed the signs on all the terms in your last quadratic by moving them to the opposite side. Wouldn't just rearranging them on the same side work too?

this channel has quite literally saved my genchem grade so many times. thank you for making these videos i kept looking up how to do this question for my homework but none of the examples online used the numbers i had to use and the x's were confusing me so bad. but this video actually helped me understand how to do it myself thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG, thank you soo much. I am uni chem 115 and as usual, the prof didn't go step by step on how to do it. I had forgotten this. Finally, I understand. Thanks again I wish I would hug you through the screen ❤️

@melissameribel could you please explain how do we get moldm‐³ as the final unit for the following reaction? I have tried every way to sort it out but don't understand how we get moldm‐³ . Will be really thankful for your help. Q.When nitrogen reacts with hydrogen to form ammonia, the equilibrium mixture contains 0.31 mol dm‐³ and 0.50 mol dm‐³ of nitrogen and hydrogen respectively. If the Kc is 0.50 mol‐²dm⁶, what is the equilibrium concentration of NH3?

I am super rusty on the quadratic equation, so maybe this is just me other thinking it…but on the second example, I don’t understand why the signs are switched. After you subtract 4x squared to get 21x squared….why to you flip the signs?
