This is my brain for sure. Love it. Currently making precut 10x10 squares for HST and have that hmm not a good idea to cut them in half prior to sewing. Better stitch that way and definitely avoid any curl from sewing on the bias perhaps. It just makes sense to me to trim them closed as you do simply because there isnt a chance of warping the shape even a little after you open them. This is awesome. Thank you for sharing. Hiya, Melanie - Couldn't you just skip the marking, sewing, and cutting and use your ruler to cut out whatever size triangle you wanted?

Not sure what you mean. If you mean to cut triangles and then sew them together, triangles are cut on the bias and fussy and hard to get accurate when sewn that way. :)
