How to use the TEE probe-making sense of the views 

I am extremely grateful for these videos! I am currently studying cardiovascular sonography and I was struggling to understand TEE views since we don't practice them until we get to clinicals. Thank you so much for these detailed videos!

Question. In this example shown, .is the degree angle, the angle of the transducer , or the probe itself. If it is the former, then is that angle relative to the vertical plane or the horizontal plane of the transducer. ?
