I am deeply grateful for your dedication and the impact you've had on my skills.
This is the best video i have ever seen on vectorscopes. I honestly don't have words to express my gratitude for this masterpiece you just casually dropped on RU-vid. Please continue making such in-depth, carefully crafted videos.
He is not being kind enough…:-) this is the greatest concise explanation I have ever had the pleasure to consume on this subject matter. I paused the video 8 minutes in just to thank you and write this comment in gratitude… I’ll continue watching now.
@@julioarroyo6137 Thank you very much for your kind words Julio. I am glad the video was helpful. Nice to see you here and please do subscribe! :) I'll see you in the future videos! :)
Love the depth in which you dive & take your viewers to share the information in a simple yet in depth manner. Please make regular Resolve & fusion tutorials.
IDK how many vectorscope videos I have watched, this is the first one that really made clear the “why” of the layout, and maybe the only one I’ve seen that even mentions the skin tone line. Bravo!
I cannot agree more ... this is by far the best explanation of vectorscopes i ve ever seen. Please please continue making these incredible videos. Your explanations are simply brilllant ... i love your work. Thanks a lot

Yes! Please continue with these in-depth vids on DR. The first time I've seen such a great explanation of scopes. Keep up the videos and I'm here for the long hull !!!
Finally I understand what vector scope is. As usually you have been very clear, explaining everything in a simple way ... thanks. It will be nice to see a sample how to correct an clip using this tool with person or a landscape (few sample with different subjects). Thanks
Fantastic video and what a way to explain what most people think Vector scope to be so so complex... so simple and easy to understand. Thank you once again.. i love watching your videos and learn a lot.... keep up the fabulous work you are doing...
First time subscriber and just found your channel yesterday. Such informative videos. I knew nothing about vectorscopes until watching this. Such a great video. Thanks!!
I don't usually leave RU-vid comments but this is a phenomenal tutorial. Colour grading has always been my weakest point when editing but this tutorial was easy to digest and perfectly informative while being concise and to the point. Would love more Da Vinci content.
You are too kind Bryan! Thanks! I am glad the video was helpful for you. If Colour Grading is your weakest point, I just uploaded a tutorial yesterday that should help! See you there! :)
What a fantastic explanation of vectorscopes and well presented. Thank you. I have just discovered your davinci videos and have learnt so much in a short space of time. You are genius. Keep up the good work. Thanks again.
Wow man take a bow this is a masterpiece piece. You have no idea how much this video is going to help us. Please do more such in-depth videos. I have seen thousands of videos on color grading but none were this much helpful. Now I understand it. Thank you so much man with so much respect.
I found your first video in my feed, Watched and Subscribe to your channel. I'm learning with your channel, pls make more and more indebt explain about DR tools.🎉🎉🎉🎉
Wonderfully explained. Thank you. I usually follow Davinci Resolve tutorials. Even they don’t explain the vector scope like you did. I have one request. I deliver all my videos in rec.2020 HDR. So please do a 2nd part of this vector scope explaining how to set the highlights and shadows in vector scope for HDR, because I don’t have a HDR monitor. I just depend on playing the clip on my OLED TV and then coming back to my iMac with a monitor which almost plays HDR videos.
Thanks Puthethu. For the HDR setup, I'd usually use my parade scopes instead of the Vectorscope for the shadows and the highlights (brightness levels?) unless you are referring to the colours in the shadows and the highlights?
Your explanation is incredibly insightful! Imagine if you began creating VFX using DaVinci Resolve - even beginners could achieve mastery with your guidance and It's a request please create tutorials on a regular basis
can you please make more videos on color page and please make a video of step by step coloring a video. This video was so good. you are really a great teacher
Hi Miftah. These are just things that I have learnt over the years. I've been filming and editing for over 15 years now, so you just pick things up as you go! :)
