Ok, thank you! One thing I love about TickTick is that the mobile experience is equally as good as the web and desktop experience, which I find isn't true of so many other apps. But I'll add this to the list of videos to make :)
I try to use the calendar often too, so I can block out time to knock out tasks. For example the "client X workshop" I assign a time block and then afterwards I make updates and move that block of time to the next day or sometime later. Using a deadline date in the title is a great idea, thank you
Thank you so much for this video, I have been searching for a video on TickTick that explains actually how could we use it in real life and this is the only video that I found relatable and accurate to my own requirements. Just one suggestion though, the video was not very audible even at full volume so I wasn't able to listen properly, so please look into it the next time.

Absolutely right ! Everywhere I search for todo app recommendations people are all praise for TickTick, however when I search for videos its only either "Simplevity" or "Keep Productive" channels. And I somehow didn't find anything that would actually tell me how to use it. This video nailed it.

I'm just starting out in recording material for clients and university teaching and I've invested in a quality mic - and with the gain set correctly it makes a massive difference in audibility.

Do More, Stress Less, thanks for the tutorial. Injust downloaded tick tick and also imported my wonderlist. I hadn’t used wonderlist for a while and as tick tick has a different limit of lists , i would like to change the imported lists and rearrange them into different folders and sub folders. Can you advise me as how to do this? I can’t figur it out.
@@stien9330 When I imported my Wunderlist items into TickTick I bumped into the free version's list limit too. But instead of rearranging my lists, I just sprang for the $27.99 annual fee to get the premium features, which includes having up to 299 lists and 999 tasks per list.
Love this!! I have been using tick tick for about 3 years and the way you set yours up is easy and simplified. Love the next action subtasks with a moving date until goal/due date :) Also love the inbox as a master list and using the views to categorize. Edit I just saw someone with the exact same comment haha my brain. But thank you again for this video! 🥳🥰
You're only using 1/2 of the capabilities of Ticktick. I made a List folder called "Shopping" within that is a list called "Groceries" which contains all of the normal things that I buy. I also created labels for what stores I buy stuff from because some stuff I can only find at certain stores. I can either look at the list via "lists" or switch to "tags" and switch to the tag for the specific store.

I have been using Ticktick for a while now but I never split my tasks into small sub-tasks and the flexible deadlines. Thanks for sharing! It is really useful.
Does anyone know whether after I have used the "subscribe calendar" function and tick tick has successfully "imported" in my Google calendar, whether the two calendars continue to cross-synchronise?
I don't personally use MS Planner, and the last time I checked it out it was a bit limiting since it was only kanban style cards. But, that said, if you like it, use it! The best tool to use is the one you LIKE to use. No tool is perfect.
HI do more, stress less. I use TickTick, but came across this problem. Syncing with the google calendar. will duplicate any event i greate. so it will appere 2 times on the ticktick app! It is so frustrating! do you have any idea how to fix this? :)
Hi Rasmus, I haven't encountered this issue before. Have you reached out to TickTick for support? One option to try would be to unsync and then resync your calendar and see if that resolves it.
I have, and I'm not a big fan. I know it's one of the more popular tools out there, but I feel like it lacks functionality that I consider basic (like a description field where you can add next steps for your tasks) and isn't as straightforward to use.
Looks very different on smartphone :-/ (just after installing & messing around with). Tags hidden by default, view "All" also hidden -- not sure why, makes it much more difficult to figure things out initially. Will struggle on with it another bit....
It does look a bit different on mobile (although I do use it primarily on mobile). The view that I like best is "next 7 days" which is available by default. And I don't use tags because I don't like to add complexity unless necessary. You might try just configuring on your laptop/desktop and then using mobile. Let me know how it goes!
I made this video using a premium account but I don't think I'm showing any premium features here; the only reason I upgraded to Premium was to have lists longer than 99 items). In terms of collaboration, you can collaborate by sharing a specific list. To share/collaborate, one person has to have a Premium account, but the other person does not. Hope that helps!
Is the focus timer (Pomodoro) available via the Desktop App, or just the mobile version of Ticktick. I can't locate on DT version. I have the premium on trial

Maybe what I am trying to do is not possible on the downloaded App. Maybe I am just not explaining things properly. A picture would paint a thousand words but I can't upload anything as part of my questions here (I have quite a few others!!)
