Hi im old Handicapper from the 80's got out of it when home track closed. Aksarben in Omaha. Recently retired getting back into it, just keep missing out on pick 6 bets. EXAMPLE....Well got another shock with these new fang dangle exotic bets.(not like the old days) Yup, another mandatory pay out for pick 6 this one was at Santa Anita's last night tonight. Here's how it went down, I hit, from 5th to the tenth (by place) 3rd,1st,1st,1st,1st and 1st. Paid....drum roll please.....$0.00000. Sooooo close. Disregard the hand written 4's surrounding the first number 2. I was watching too many TV'S and started to write down wrong results on my picks. Probably should try and figure out exactly what the track is going to pay out before i select my next run at an Exotic wager. Oh, yes i had the first place horse as my 4th selection in the first leg, i toss to save $21.60.....yup,cost me $3,514.94 . So i either need to learn more about blood line (which is more dependable to track Dam or Sire? Or learn more about trainers.seem as i use these speed figures Jockey does matter as long as their in top 15 rankings. Any suggestions on narrowing down to better quality in my bets?
