These type of videos are awesome for anyone (like me) who is trying to learn the very specific details of blenders capabilities. Thanks Nik, added to my Blender save group and got me to subscribe!
I used to rarely write comments, but I just have to say! You have an amazing teaching talent, I can say it as being a teacher myself. Your voice is so pleasant and calming! It is a pleasure to watch your tutorials without any arrogant attitude, which we can very often see in some Blender tutor channels. Thank you very much for being so a warm person and a light bearer! 🥰❤✨
About as good an instructor as I've seen on-line, fantastic pace and explanations and I particularly like how you give examples of where you'd want to use each setting. 11/10
Thanks for this excellent video. I have wasted a lot of time on my models by assuming the transforms other then Global and Local would not be of any help to me. I’m sure this information will cure a lot of problems I have been having and increase my modeling speed. Your video was clear and easy to follow. Thanks again.
Yes - I often find tutorials much less useful because they don't explain how something would be used in a practical situation, not just with a cube. Especially, often I look for tutorials because I have to solve something specific, and I have to figure out how the info in the tutorial would need to be adapted for the thing I actually have to do. Thank you!
this vid should be have more views. this knowledge will save newcomers a TON of time and frustration in an area that is often overlooked with rendering software
Really deserves likes for this knowledge. Thank you very much. I just knew the Global and Local orientation but now I will be called a complete modeler.
Thank you! That was a well done description and at a nice slow pace (for the slower among us!). I have a couple of really good books for beginners, but neither described this very well. The index was a nice touch too.
Very good. I appreciated it much more on second viewing. I'm sure I'm just getting more receptive. Can you please do a video on controlling the viewport.
New on Blender! I reached your video because this theory in text, it is difficult to understand! and now all is clear!!... I have a remark: you went to Editor mode so fast, that I missed because I am new on this... and I was like a crazy checking how to see the same menu as you. It took me 3 videos to find why I couldn't see the Normal options. I have seem some tutorials where Blender shows the pressed hot-keys and mouse events - looks like an Add-ons or option. It would be nice if you integrate it in your explanations! Thanks for the video!
you deserve lot of views for this video. none tried to create videos with this kind of detail of each editing option. This sort of videos eventually attract lot of viewers. Keep making them please. Explain each feature with simple geometry. Work with Blender to create video documentation for entire blender. Then you will have lot of viewers with short 10min videos.
Great video! Many thanks. I hope this helps me scale an object on Y which has a strange orientation. By the way, what your pronunciation of Z - they way you say it sounds like C.
