This was literally the best thing I've ever seen regarding WebP-Imaes: Thank you for being so thorough and making it approachable for the whole WP-Community. keep up the work!
@@wpbeginner yes, but the current interface doesn't make it clear that WebP is actually the default on the plugin. Which option would you choose now WebP or AVIF?
Unless we hear otherwise, you should be able to. Jetpack has documentation on this below: jetpack.com/support/getting-started-with-jetpack/configure-jetpack-cloudflare/
Sir when I upload images through the WordPress media library it shows the image. jpg-web and original dimensions but after uploading to the site the dimension changes to 1080x675 how I can fix this. My original dimensions are 1200x700. I use Litespeed cache to optimize
The image size used in content is normally decided by your theme but if you are adding the image in the content of your site then the image block should have settings on the right-hand side to specify which image size you can use!
Hi, I was reading that you should optimise and resize images before you download it to your website. I like this option beter, give me chance to limit unnecesery plugins. I wonder what is your arument and opininion?
That works too, Jual. But the process is manual. But, you'll definitely save on overall image size. However, as I mentioned in the video, the plugin auto-detects if the visitor's browser supports WebP and serves the right image automatically. Without the plugin, you'll use that specific functionality. Hope that helps.
Yes, you do. If a visitor visits your website using a browser that doesn't support WebP, a plugin like this can detect that and serve a compatible version.
Thank you for that feedback, we'll see what we can do. For the time being you can change the playback speed using the cog/gear in the bottom-right of the video :)
