Do you know how to get rid of the “What’s Happening” box that takes up an entire 1/3 of the screen? I don’t know if I touched something on the iPad to do this or if it’s new on X for everyone. Thank you for taking the time to make this video. It helps so many ppl.

Is there any way to get rid of the annoying tweet delay? It jumps out of view, then says I can view/send it, then disappears before I can send. Then a few seconds later, reappears as posted.

I am 70 years old. I can do batch files and whatever from the DOS/ Win95-98 days and have had Linux as my daily driver since 2011 or so. I get on X and what the... All I get is a steady line of crap. So.... thank you for this. I am going to jump in with both feet.

How do I reveal a thread so I understand the context of an X post? e.g. Elon made a one word post saying, "Concerning" and I have no idea what he is concerned about. Is there a way to see what the post he is responding to says?

If a user makes a post replying to someone else's post, click the reply post (in this case, Elon's) and then scroll up to see the post he was replying to.

No, X is free to sign up for and use. There are some premium features that you would have to pay for if you want to access them, but that's totally optional.

As a content creator, this app doesn't offer any way to create. Every function needed to create something is limited, text, pictures, video everything. I have tons of varied content and no way to present any of it there, Twitter is useless for creators.

I'm not even a boomer, but twitter / X has always been the most confusing form of social media. In order to comment on something, I must post on a reply to that thread on my profile? Sounds unintuitive

Yes it does work quite differently from other platforms since there aren't really comment sections like you would normally see. Instead, you reply to posts with your own post. A little confusing, but we hope our videos help!

Elon Musk should do everyone a favor. I remember when Prince became a glyph "formerly known as Prince". He was always "the artist formerly known as Prince." It was awkward. I don't recall if Prince ever reverted to "Prince". Now we're stuck in this nonsense of "X, formerly known as twitter" or "twitter, now known as X". Musk should do everyone a favor. Call it Xitter. Tweets can be called Xits. X doesn't even have a name for tweets! "There was a tweet, now known as an X? On twitter, now known as X." Far too complicated. Xits on Xitter is much simpler. Simpler is good.

My pet peeve too. Pronunciation is important because we think the word when using it. So "xit" might be pronounced "exit" but that's not what one is doing. Saying it as "zit", a common sound for "x", is not nice either. The Greek letter "X" is written as "Chi" and said as "Kai" but then "Xit" becomes "Kite"! Maybe Kite is good as we are flying a kite when we "post". We throw it out there into the X Ether without any expectation of getting any response. Any ideas on this would be much appreciated. And I'll be "Kiting" this idea also.😁😎
