I downloaded packs for SX900 and followed the exact same steps as you but when I try to install the pack on SX900 it says “this file cannot be installed on this instrument” any help sir ?
It displays "Cannot save file, make sure that the memory is not write protected and there is enough free space." I am not able to save file anywhere. Please help me Sir

CPF: It is Protected pack project file (file opened with Expansion Manager; can generate installation files for specific instruments or models) CPI: Protected pack installation file (file for installation on an instrument; can be installed only on specific instruments or models) So this is why you need to use YEM to prepare CPI from CPF

Hey. Sorry for the delay but I missed your comment. Have you registered on Yamaha website ? There is a link the the description of this video. After you installing YEM you need to open downloaded files (extension is CPF) and you basically follow the video.
Hello Stanley. Unfortunately the answer is no. Writable memory for user packs is low but the build-in style are in ROM memory (read-only) so you can not delete them. You can only use USB memory stick to have more styles and load them individually. You can not install expansion pack on USB stick but you can copy invidual styles or voices on it just like I have done on this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wUKUxKPfvAY.html I have moved some of my favorite voices and styles from S670 to S975 , Regards. @@BBWalkerTV no i copied from instrument to pendrive and i connected to the yamaha expansion manager and imported then it shows instrument info couldn't import
@@cliferdagas7753 OK, what is your instrument model and YEM version? I am afraid that you have used newer version of YEM and old instrument that is no longer supported - You need to check Yamaha website - where you downloaded YEM is your model still supported. Try to obtain older version of YEM.
