I love this. If you framed this, would it be necessary to have a frame with a glass front to keep the dust off? Or does the satin varnish that you used make it so that you can dust the picture without damaging the art work? I’m really excited to try this, Thankyou so much for the inspiration!❤️

This is one of my fav collages and I have it hanging on the wall in my studio. I think the satin varnish is enough, I dust is very occasionally, it's actually only the top of the canvas that is covered in dust. So that is easy to clean with a damp soft cloth. Thanks for joining me, cheers Froyle

Hello there! I like your videos! Got a question for the printing size. If I want to print a b/w image, but in bigger size. What should I do? Should I use a bigger gel plate or bigger papers and do you have any ideas for that? Is it possible anyway? Thank you

Hi, so I decided do the same thing but my paint was fully absorbed by the photo and my jelly plate was clean. Any ideas why?

It will be your print copy. You need a good quality laser print. I use Warehouse Stationary for this. The commercial printers are better than home laser printers as they have more toner which repels the paint from the print & leaves it on the plate 👍🏼 all the best 😘

Is that acrylic paint? Why did it not stick on the entire face? I'm just so confused...

This is an image transfer on the gel plate. using a colour laser print copy, the paint resists the dark spaces and sticks to the plate and the white areas absorb the paint into the paper and don't stick to the plate. Therefore creating an image transfer! it's pretty fun!! Cheers Froyle

I tried the transfer technique using a magazine photo, a printed photo (not inkjet), and a copy photo and no luck. The image did not transfer on to the plate. Suggestions?

In the beginning I had trouble with too much paint, so look at the quantity your using. It doesn’t matter so much about the brand, but too much paint on the plate won’t transfer the image! 😃 let me know how you go! 😘

@@FroyleArt Try it with less pain and still no go. I’m not sure what’s going on. Do you use fresh images. The copy images I am using or at least six months old. I use them for gel transfers onto canvas.

I tried it with less paint and still no go. Could it be the images I am using. Their images from a copy machine but they are at least six months old. Not sure if that matters

@@jenniferruggiero1943 yep that matters! I only use colour laser prints, I have found that this is the highest rate of success! 👍🏼 if your print copies are old & especially if they are inkjet they won’t work well, cheers Froyle
