Very useful intro to the iPhone SE. However, as others here have likewise noted, he speaks much too fast. In fact, so much so that sometimes it's hard to understand what he's saying. This video would be much more useful to new users if he slowed down a bit.

I've only used a flip phone. I'm a much older person and this is ALL new to me! Wish I had a manual for a true beginner and slower explanation would be nice!

You can adjust the Playback Speed of RU-vid videos by using the Settings gear icon. It's located next to the closed caption/CC button in the tools tray at the bottom of the video. Try selecting a slower playback speed, such as 0.75.

I also found it too fast. I recommend turning on the TRANSCRIPT and/or closed captions and following along with that and pausing the video while you read over what was just said if you don't quite catch something. Peace 🔵

Thanks for the instructions. Like some of the commenters mentioned "you are way too fast " Have mercy on the "sharp" elderlies who are trying to catch up. Guess will have to refer from time to time should I come across something that I could not access. My 1st time using an iPhone from an Android. My daughter got it for me and had everything setup, It took almost 2 hrs!

If a video is too fast - Go to the video settings at the bottom of the vid - and select the speed - .75

@@virtualwhispers Thanks. I am going to look for it. I have one issue here I find the letter key board too close/small comparable to Android. Annoying when your fingers get into the way of other letters. If the manufacturer could improve on this feature would be so great so that the users won't keep on typing the wrong letters

To make a call, you just tap on the phone icon which is on the bottom left corner of the phone in this video. You then dial the number you want to call and press the green call button. Not much to it.

once you start using SE you will never use bigger phones. smaller phones like this are very compact and can fit in any small pockets. can use it for long time without any pain for your hand. Also personally I liked touch id more than other unlock systems.

I just upgraded from iPhone 7 to iPhone SE 2022. I like it, but I'm not a big fan of the glass back. I much prefer the aluminium of the iPhone 7. I'd even prefer plastic to glass. Glass is way too slippery. And I'm ticked off that you can't answer and end calls by pressing the home button. There should be a setting for that!

I have the iPhone SE 3rd generation I got it on January 2nd 2024 it’s a great iPhone 📱 it has the A15 Bionic chip and 5g it’s pretty fast for its size the battery life lasts all day unlike my old iPhone SE 2nd generation I had for 3 years

It's not "two speakers on the bottom". Though each side looks the same-one side is a speaker , the other a microphone. 2nd speaker is up top near earpiece

Love my 'Midnight' colored iPhone SE 2022 (3rd gen) in all respects. No complaints whatsoever!! In fact, I also have a 'Midnight' colored iPhone 13 mini and I find myself utilizing my SE 3 just as much (if not more).

The only way is to completely remove the passcode from your phone. This is not recommended since if you loose your phone or otherwise it gets stolen anyone could get into your phone.

To get a slower playback speed, you might try selecting settings (to right of CC) and select playback speed (click on normal and change to lesser amount).

Turn off your phone, take out the sim card and re-install it. Make sure its installed correctly. Otherwise, without a SIM card, your phone won't be able to function as a phone, nor use mobile data nor send/receive text messages.

Make sure you put in the SIM card in the right way it’s so important to have one it’s basically there so you can unlock your iPhone basically! And so that your iPhone works properly! But make sure that your iPhone is shut down completely before you do anything!
