I ordered this pump yesterday ! cant wait to try it and continue my breastfeeding/pumping journey! I actually stopped pumping because i didn’t have a propper pump for me and didn’t educate myself enough about pumping , but your videos has helped me wanting to try again thank you 🙏🏻☺️
If I use the pump once and I am out all day, can I just rinse the upper part with warm water and use a different bottle to fill the milk? Come back and sterilise the whole thing at night ?
Hope you read this! Love tyour reviews, i Would you choose this medela freesyle pump or the lansinoh smart pump 2.0. I really need help. Thank you sooo much!
Does this pump have the same movement as the medela instyle (when it pumps it is one movement) or more like the spectra which i feel like shakes/vibrates when it is pumping? Thank you!!
It’s been awhile but I want to say it took around 2-4 hours to charge depending on how much of one it had left. It’ll depend on how much you’ll use it each day!
Thanks! And nope, just leave the pump on for about 10 minutes after you’re done to get out any condensation that would occur. The only time you would need to wash them is if milk got in the tubes or if you find mold. But if there’s mold, I prefer to just buy a new set!
When i use spectra, i dont wash my backflow protector after every use because the way it was set up it is not necessary but looking at this set up it looks like the back flow protector is built into the flange so i guess we have to wash all parts after each use? If it is so do you find it hard to wash and dry the parts? The flange and backflow protector of spectra were very "open" and simple to wash and quick to dry so i am wondering.
I'd definitely give the backflow protectors on the Spectra a wash regularly since they do get condensation inside and that could lead to mold growth. I have to wash bottles and pump parts every day regardless so it wasn't a big deal to me and they aren't hard to clean with only having three pieces!
I just used the pump 38 days...and the adaptor stopped working. Customer service will replace a new one, but this is not convenient at all. The price doesn't worth it...
Nope, probably not! You really don’t need to change those things unless they’re damaged or no long working properly. Just be gentle with them! Try not to use your finger nails to remove them, wash them gently, stuff like that!
if I Paid full price for the pump what do they send when you need a replacement? I actually bought a non working freestyle flex at target and called medela for replacement and they are sending it but I'm wandering what will come in the replacement box? will I be getting everything like when I paid for it and will it come with the cooler?
Typically when replacing a pump it’ll only come with the motor, charging cable, and possibly tubing. I’m sure it varies from situation to situation tho!
I showed it in this video! It has to do with taking one side of the tubing and putting it in the hole of the plastic piece that “y”s the tubing. That probably confusing but I know I mention it in the video and show it!
Eh, I wouldn’t say. They feel different and I prefer this one over either version of the pump in style. It is similar in some way but still pretty different
