I have no idea how to use these things and this video didn't help - it's just describing the features like an infomercial - if I look for a video titled how to use your... it should be assumed that I already own it so I don't need a sales pitch, I need a step by step walk through
Have you even watched the video? It pretty much describes how to use all of the functions. If you don't know how to use studio lights at all, there's a ton of videos about that.
You connect the trigger to the show mount on the top of your camera and you turn the silent shutter off on your camera. Then you adjust the intensity of the flash on the actual strobe. Start with it low. They are super powerful if you have them above the lowest settings.
I have 2 of these - they are great! Also can shoot HSS through the slave system. 2.8F anywhere from 1000s-4000s @ ISO400 YOUNGNO YN568EX Flash on 1/8 power Neewer on 1/4 power. Pull out bounce card aim flash at sensor on Neewer & BAM HSS....try it & experiment. Trust me it works!
@@lesleylara8544 basically, what is is saying is instead of triggering the strobe directly, trigger a Speedlite with HSS and set this stone in slave mode. As a result, you can shoot over 1/160s.
@ThePalliz, I tried doing same but seems like it do not work the way you explained. I checked all the settings yet still my camera curtains closes fast and results to black image! I used my YN 568exii as master flash to trigger vision 4.
Hi. I can't seem to consistently get this strobe to fire with the included remote. In my Nikon Hot shoe sometimes it fires every shot, other times it seems to fire every other shot (single shot). Right now I can't get it to fire at all. The Flash works fine when I click the test button on the strobe. But won't fire at all clicking the remote.
@@Brenby unfortunately not exactly. I discovered that if I held the remote right up to the back of the strobe, it will fire. But ONLY if I held it on the right side, not on the left. And only from like two feet away max. Ultimately I just sent it back and ordered a godox kit as I didn't feel like spending time or money to see if the remote was the issue or the strobe. Plus, trying a different brand would let me know if it was my hotshoe. It wasn't, the godox works great. Sorry.

My brand new Neewer Vision 4, test button doesn't work just beeps, and it doesn't fire the flash. other buttons work well. Any idea or shall I return it.
Hi, why if I go over shutter 250 it has half of my image blacked out??? How do I change that? Shutter speed cannot go over 200-250, how to get HSS up on this trigger?
Anything over 250 is considered high speed sync. This strobe isn’t HSS. 200 is good enough to capture any moving object. Just set ya camera at high speed continuous shooting mode. And it shall work fine!
Hello this is helpful. Where can I find information on how to setup with other speed light or strobe? If I’m asking the right question wanting to buy 2 more lights and sync. Or use as an optical slave for other strobes
The small elastic banded diffuser shown at the bottom far left at 1:06 is not large enough to go onto the big end of the reflector. I can't figure out what this is used for, where to place it. Can someone help me out? thanks. I do like this economy strobe. It's great.
wow, great support...thought this is a " Neewer Channel", which cares about customers...think, i send this Item back, and buy only Godox in the next future
I received mines after the new year and the battery life lasted very long seeing that I didn't always use it. But when I tried to charge it doesn't work. Ive been charging this for days now, the green light indicator would come as if its fully charge but when I put the battery back into the strobe it just beeps constantly warning me that the battery is low. Would I need to replace the charger or battery ?
@@NeewerOfficial thank you for getting back to me. I used my vision 5 on group A and Vision 4 on Group B..the only drawback is you don't get to see what settings are on Vision 4 on the remote, it just beeps and changes blindly
@@timelesscreations777 You are welcome:) Do you mean that the remote control can only flash V4 but cannot adjust the other settings of V4? This is actually normal, because V4 is an earlier model, and its own remote control does not support remote power or other adjustment settings.
I have the yn560 - tx trigger +RF605N (connected to the sync port). You can only fire the strobe, not control the power level. You will sill have to do that manually
These are rebranded Visico units. Buy a Visico VC-801 TX wireless controller and you can adjust power and turn the modelling lamp on and off remotely. I bought mine from Lencarta in the UK.
@@Dylan-bj5ry thanks for this tip ... had I trusted my guts at first then, I would have bought it instead of the Yongnuo trigger. Its not complete loss cause I adjust my speed light remotely n manually adjust the neewer strobe
