About Zillow Research.... I remember a few years back, Zillow has the great tool to show real estate and rental overview by metro areas, where the ZHVI, ZRI, 1-year forecast are listed in a table of main metro areas in US. But now I don't see it any longer. Is that still available ? Thanks for your info.

Typically they want you to register or sign in. If you have what they are doing is trying to get you to call one of the recommended real estate agents to get more info.
When it says active it means that the home is currently for sale and is not under contract yet with a buyer. Zillow doesn't always keep up with data that the local MLS provides so it is good to double check with your local realtor of choice to make sure the home truly is still active.
