Why use Zoom? Because it allows you to video stream in-app whilst sharing your Whiteboard or photos. Other apps don't allow this. 👆Check out more teaching & learning iPad tutorials here: ru-vid.com/group/PLJd4Mtj9MQf0chxK-sSRp3hryE-X4gne6
I usually screen mirroring from laptop zoom to iPad but now Laptop can't give screen mirroring to iPad. How can I get again for screen mirroring please?
thanx. i was watching another video where the presenter was using a mac and an ipad. As keeping track of the students and your annotations can make things very busy on one screen. They started the zoom session on the mac and mirrored in the ipad. And like you did, annotate on the ipad and then when annotating on the ipad, I see it on the mac and then I can record the session on the mac. Is there any benefit from this kind of setup? Thx. I am transitioning from a Surface and its native drawing to using a wacom ... which is just cumbersome. Time to go to the dark side and apple up. :-)
Yes. There is a night and day difference. Go for the larger one if this will be your main device. But if it’s just a side companion tablet then maybe get the smaller 10.9/11 inch version. I love my 12.9 inch iPad Pro with Magic Keyboard. Although it is heavier than my MacBook 🙃
Hi, i am a private math tutor. I am using iPad and Zoom for distant teaching. The students send me questions with whatsup app. I do a screen shot of the whatsup on my ipad, which does not work smoothly, as you may kknow. And the screen shot i take is not suitable for photo sharing, it needs to be crop, rotate, and resize. And even then it is not useable since now the object i want to present capture the whole screen. To state my question short, what we miss here is the option to import an object into the whiteboard. What i am doing up to now is screen sharing and i use goodnotes, but i lack the option let my student annotate their inputs on the shared screen. I hope you have an advice for this. Thanks.
Try using Google jamboard. It’s a digital whiteboard that all participants can write ✍️ annotate on. You can share screen using jamboard on your iPad. Students will be able to see the screen and also annotate on the jamboard. 😊 👍
@@BeardSquaredEdtech thank you for answering, i tried now the jamboard. There is no option to crop an object that you add. Not good enough. I find that it is very difficult to use the iPad since it uses iOS and not macOS I consider shift to Microsoft surface.
Is there any other app that can do annotation on the screen for all the participant together and see it together on a screen? i believe only zoom can do it at the current moment right? other web conference app only allow annotation for the host itself only.
Is it tricky to find a good angle for the iPad so that you are clearly seen on the video call and it is comfortable to write on the iPad? Thanks. Really enjoyed the video.
Hello. Thanks for the video! Is there a way of watching the student's work and marking it online? Perhaps they'll need a document camera? But could we mark on an image of it online (and live)? So the student follows the marking on their screen....
I I Just want to know where is the eraser or how to erase desired portion, letter or anything...that is not seen in latest zoom workplace app...I have tired of finding this since morning....
You can't screen record your zoom meeting. But I think the zoom video call gets recorded to the cloud, just like Cisco Webex. All the meeting videos are recorded and saved to the cloud, provided you allow this in settings.
Beard Squared Found the feature and it works! Thank you! I’m currently using an older iPad Air (2014) that I recently updated to iPad OS. For some reason when I try to share photos Zoom freezes up. Have you had this problem?
I don’t get shown the option to enable or disable the annotation from others even though I have a premium account and did exactly as you. I’ve checked everywhere and people still can’t comment on my screen sharing. Can someone help me?
