Great video only have one question was the planter board connected to the swivel where the mono meets the floor carbon or where the braid meets the mono thanks

Forgot to say, remove quite a bit of braid from your reel, before you start adding mono, or the line will not fit on your rood

why did u attach planer board to the swivel on the line its meant to have a bead above it an attach the planner board to the line where u can change distance of line out an when a fish hits the bait the line pops out an u fight the fish not the board also if u will buy boards for just one side it will have a straight piece of metal that the scotty clip is on it will pull so much better those kinds do work good but not near as nice a the stright kind good luck an be safe

If I already have 50lb mono on my reel, should I skip the first step and continue with the rest ?

Young Bez yes. if you have mono on the reel already, skip the first step. the braid is preferred though. braid is a much smaller diameter and puts less resistance in the water.

Also forgot to mention, my reels are level winds. Is this going to be an issue with the swivels passing through ? If so, do you have another suggestion ?

Young Bez yes it may be an issue. you may have to use a smaller swivel or tie a dacron loop.

Real Fishing Videos from Matador Charters I'll give it a shot and see which one will pass through easier. Is the rig in the video fished at a specific depth ? I normally fish in 20-40ft of water around the cole piers, HRBT, MMBT. My apologies for all the questions. I'm a novice at trolling.
