Very helpful reminder. I saved all the Capodimonte pottery my grandmother had all over her home. It is now showcased in a glass cabinet, the flower petals are very sharp so I try not to touch it.

I just bought 2 small fruit baskets by capodimonte in Naples. Should I ask for the same amount as Ebay's other sel li ers, which is 25 dollars, or ask for more, because I'm unsure how to price it correctly?

I played the beginning three times, trying to figure out WHY you would say " . . . that looks like capodimonte, but isn't." Finally put on captioning which, although it has "pizza monte" instead of capodimonte, I think I now understand that you were saying " . . . or is it?" Is it? And my question: Are all capodimonte pieces, in particular the super intricate floral arrangement ones ----- marked on the bottom "Italy" and w/ numbers? Thank you. Enjoyed this video very much.

Loved your video I too was born in Connecticut and New Haven went to Hill House and I go back every year or two to see my friends that went to school with me leaving friends for over 70 years we are all in her late 80s. I do have a cap at the Monte IMA mother had for years I thought it was the ugly ass thing I’ve ever seen and paid no attention to it my sons don’t want it so I figure maybe I could put it on consignment ButNot sure what it’s worth when I go back to Connecticut the first thing I have to have is a lobster roll I live here in California and there’s no such thing as a great lobster roll cousins lobster isn’t bad but it’s not the same I will fill out your forms and send you the pictures
