Tip: delay your heelflip from normal timing in response to pop and compromise by flicking about 15degrees frontside while maintaining the same angle you'd normally flick(shifty heelflip but with fs shovit scoop).

Dude everyone can teach a trick, but you are like the best. you can in to great detail and what you prefer and also you point out where some people have problems and help with them.. you need to up more vids...

@ultimatevie foot position, like put your back foot right into the lil' dip, that worked for me, if i dont do that i will land on the nose and almost always break my deck

Varial Heels are one of those tricks where you don't need to flick too much.

i skate goofy but my dominant foot is my right which is already infront! you do then very well though, good trick tip!

@Jonnttut It might depend on your stance and whether you're right or left foot dominant. I'm goofy and right foot dominant, and I'm pretty much 10x better at BS tricks compared to FS. When I do switch and nollie tricks, they feel almost equal, but FS is a bit easier.

Man, we need to like, not have pre-quisites for tricks. Look at every trick as its own. Like, learn tre flips before 360 shuvs. Every trick is its own. It makes learning new tricks alot easier.

yeah im trying to learn varial heels cause im alot closer to landing a varialheelflip than a regular heelflip. i learned switch & nollie varaial kickflips, and regular varial kickflips waaaay befor i had kickflips down. so im thinkin i'd just learn a varial heel and the normal heel will come sooner or later...

alot of people are goofy but are righty. do you have your feet like even with each other? cause your front foot should be further up and your back foot should be pulled back a little

seriously thats sick. I learned heelflips before kickflips, and varial kickflip before regular kicflip and a tre flip before a 360 shuv lol, my shits all fucked up and I cant varial heel.

Flick hard and bring your backfoot back just like a front pop shove. flick hard!

@ aronl Man I had them soooo good like I can do it every try,But then I can bearly do them.My shoe size is size seven but im skating a size 8 shoe.So aronl is it cause of my shoes im bearly doing it?

I know im gonna sound like a poser.. but the other day I did a varial heel flip, and while i was in the air with out disturbing the rotation of the flip I did a 180. (So the board did a varial while i spinned above it). SO whats that called???

@crazyfrog222221 Yes. You know skateboarding and practising hard for 8 hours each day gonna get you nice results. And with the right guide, you can learn them pretty fast. Every day when I couldnt do a trick lets say 360 flip, I came home late night and watched aronl's video about it, and then tried to improve wheter my flip or popping, and not make the same mistakes over and over again. Endurance and rave, thats what you need ^^ Good luck.

@ChadMuskaKIllit u might want to fix ur foot positioning. every1 does it differently, experiment and see what works best

i land with my front foot only half the time, so i gotta try the thing with scooping faster.. lol And i cant really pop them as high as i would like to cuase i have my mind on flicking my frontfoot out over the scooping of the tail... idk

Well, not really. It spins like a fs shuvit, but it doesn't work like one. It's more like an inward flip, done mostly off of the front foot.

Basically, except theres a FS shove-it and a heelflip, not a FS shove-it and a kickflip

Well if you spun in the same direction as the board it would be a Front-side Heelflip.

darkstararmorlight9 his varial heels arnt high or smooth.he wouldnt be able to do those over or down anything because his foot position is so wierd and off balance. just watch john mottas varial heels trick tip if you want to see smooth high varial heels

i cant get the complete flip i always land on the graphic and they super high and steeze!
