Probably something wrong with your SMTP credentials. I can't help without error messages or output...

Hello. I hope you could help me. I followed your instructions but after trying to register, I met this error. "localhost:1025": stream_socket_client(): Unable to connect to localhost:1025 (No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it)

No I actually do not haha. I have some filters I added in Premire Pro. Don't really change it that much, mostly reduce background noise.

Did you create the auth controllers yourself? I noticed in this folder and in the controllers and in my project these controllers don't exist

The auth controller will be pulled in when you use the --auth flag when pulling in Tailwind. It's a series of videos, I think that might've been the reason why you missed it.

Hi Dary .. is there a way that we 'queue' this verification email until after registering the user ? I mean, sending the mail takes time.. and I want the email to be sent after the user is registered and logged in ... can we do that ?

Laravel includes the Auth\VerificationController class that contains the necessary logic to send verification links and verify emails. To register the necessary routes for this controller, pass the verify option to the Auth::routes method: Auth::routes(['verify' => true]);

Adding it inside the __construct() of your mail class and passing in a name through when you call the mail function.

Seems that new Laravel does not have this the same way.

I just solved it, in users_migration I generated users to test my process (DB::table('users')->insert), everytime I run migration it created dummy users, this rule somehow overdrives verification process, it automatically makes user is verified. You can have similar problem

It's a video series, I'll do it in one of the previous ones. You basically need to make an account on Mailtrap and copy paste the SMTP credentials inside your .env file.
