its been more than a year since you started uploading videos. I was searching for some channel in youtube and i found yours. at that time you didn"t even have 100k subs when i visited your channel and now you have 870k subscribes bro that is sick. first i was like he should upload some tutorials and then after sometime you started uploading tutorials i was in love with those especially lightroom ones. Can you make any after effects tutorials next time. You deleted some videos to in starting of your channel :(. its kinda long already but LAST thing what i wanna say finally is you inspired me that you can take better pictures with minimum equipment or no equipment at all. thats what i wanna say man thank you for these amazing videos. I MISS YOUR HAIR TOO!

2023 and here I am watching Pete’s advices, getting ready to launch my own RU-vid channel and it is amazing how 5 years later everything he advices it still applies. Thanks Pete for inspiring me for years in so many ways. After dealing with a chronic disease I decided it is time to give back to the community, just as you have inspired and taught us. I used to feel really awkward vlogging in public, I used to not do it at all, especially if I was by myself, but now that I've been doing it for awhile I honestly don't care, some advice from a small creator like me is that if you feel uncomfortable vlog with friends, it takes away less of the awkwardness, then gradually try to just talk to the camera like your talking to your friends explaining what you are doing or how your day went, I love my vlogs and I love watching other people's vlogs, it's like a special connection between the viewer and the vlogger, I totally recommend doing it.

I've been revisiting some "classics" from some of my favorite RU-vidrs, creators, and other inspirations today to help grease the creative wheels a bit, and lo and behold, some of the content that originally got me filming/vlogging/creating pops up. This will definitely be one of the references i cite when I do my Q&A episode, because even though I'm still just a fledgling vlogger, one of the frequent questions I get when I'm out filming in public is "How do I get started vlogging?" Peter, thank you SO MUCH for this video. I have been vlogging but it takes me months before I ever get onto my next vlog. I always feel that the places I go to aren't interesting enough and I find myself delaying and delaying. Sure it's nice to travel to an interesting place on your vlog but I love your point about how you are the story and not necessarily the place that you're going to -it is SO true. This just changed my whole mindset, thank you!

well, I can share a little history here if you guys wanna know, I started vloggin when I left my country for a little trip to Italy and I did it very well for the first time in public ! well i've put the videos on and then I started to vlog in my country, Portugal, and I found out that it is really hard more than those days spent in Italy ! Honestly, I've been wanting to start vlogging and start making actual videos. One of my biggest hang ups was that I wasn't interesting or that I lived in a small town where nothing ever happens. Man, kind of unreal that this was the recommended vid from you when I opened up RU-vid. Today was my first serious attempt at a vlog - so much awkwardness in being around public with it. But feel good overall. Thanks for sharing - this advice seems so spot on.

I'm a winemaker in Napa Valley... going to start my vlog as I get to hang out with wine industry leaders and am fortunate enough to drink some of the most insane wines on the planet... that and we get pretty loopy from time to time. You're a huge inspiration Peter. Thanks for all you do.

I'm so glad I found you on here Pete.. I know you get this alot but I love all the information you share.. I take it all into consideration. I just started what I guess I call a vlog. I'm still trying to figure it out. But I listen to what you say, and I try to incorporate it into the few videos I've made. This vlog especially... Literally gives me ideas now.
