The biggest thing I've learned that helped me was shaking the bottle and only using the paint in the cap. It kept me from using too much paint and applying thick layers. THANKS!

This tutorial was a lifesaver for my customs :) I have a question though, can you just use normal acrylic paint from angelus for leather and do you need to combine something special like a GAC 200 or 900 for leather? Thanks for the vid awesome work.

This was an informative, excellent video. I Don't think a beginner should ever custom anything without researching. The first shoe looks like something my one year old would do. It's crazy because anybody thinks they can do a custom. Hopefully this will save someone's shoes.

2 years ago I tried to make stealth 3s, remember theres a suede upper, into what the threes. I painted the suede and i thought i was supposed to and it didn't dry for 2 days.

to have more even coats do long slow strokes alex, the results will be better much smoother paint and you don't need to come back to sooth it out . if you do fast strokes the paint brush will pick the paint back up then ud have to add more paint

I have a pair of oreo 6s that were blacked out, painted over in white(without removing the first layer), and hit with the matte finisher. I need to fix them because the paint job was horrid. Bro don't prep that suede/nubuck!!!! That's a total different material. Just get angelus dye, the dye color that you'd like them to be & just start dying them as if you were painting a leather shoe. Easy & simple
