All these people telling the dad it's rude to wake up a sleeping baby lol i can't my 5 day old sleeps like the log all day even at night i have to change his diaper to wake him up that's the only way that works for me lol sigh
I wonder how long a baby could sleep if you let them sleep off their tiredness. When I was a teenager I had the house to myself for the weekend and I couldn’t cut grass cause it rained all weekend. I was so tired I laid in bed to sleep off my tiredness and I slept for 12 hours midnight to noon. I wasn’t tired by 1230 pm

It's natural for babies to get scared my son that I just had is a heavy sleeper and he gets jolted awake by different sounds in the house, its very normal.

Why are these ppl so damn rude. Dad did nothing wrong you have to wake up your newborn untill they're able to wake up on their own to feed. My son is a pro at sleeping and not waking up and if I let him he'll never have a bottle and eventually lose weight and get sick. I know this post is old but just in case dad has another baby, my midwife thought me to simply change my son before feeding he always wake up with the cold wipes lmao just gotta be careful because that also makes him pee while changing. And that's not so funny anymore.,.. but anyways stop judging this poor Dad he wants the best for his baby girl, apparently he just didn't know how but that's ok too babies don't come with instructions. But I'm sure he loves her.
Well, maybe he wants her to be awake. It's not their fault besides how are they rude they just want their kids to be awake is there a problem if you don't like it then don't comment.
I never had that luxury my baby hardly ever slept he was always waking up so I never had to wake him up that would have been a blessing if I ever had to do that she is such a sweet darling she's so beautiful may God's blessings be on you all Jesus Christ loves you John 3:16 he loves us all

@@LisasLittleWorld the only thing that ended up working everytime was me taking my hair and tickling her nose lol! I should've thought to try changing her, go figure the most obvious thing to try and I didn't think of trying it lol! Appreciate the advice! When I have my next one I'll try it if we run into the issue again
Stop hating on this dad he did the right thing he had to wake her up unless she wouldn’t eat It don’t matter newborn baby’s don’t know how to wake up on there own so they won’t eat so they need to wake them up that’s what they did with my brother they needed to wake him up so he would eat
muhammad umair it depends how much they eat! My baby always ate double than she should have been eating in the first 2 weeks so we just had to feed her every 4 hours
