Sexual purity is more than the absence of sexual activity. It's a mindset of clean thoughts and emotions! Not looking at inappropriate things, not allowing your thoughts to drift into fantasies, and not going places where you might be pulled into compromise!
I can both walk into those places and also refuse to go when others go in for preaching. It depends on the situation. It is wise to stay away if tempted.

Speaking as a young man still caught in the fog of his own sexual addiction, I really appreciate this message. In my journey with God through this I’ve learned that nothing else will address sexual sin besides a legitimate change in the heart brought on by the Lord, not marriage or self denial or a new accountability app or choosing a new date on the calendar or trying to avoid more negative consequences or starting another New Years resolution. The pastor absolutely hit the nail on the head, and instead of simple “lust“ management, I think I’m finally gonna take my spiritual devotion out of the garage of religiosity! Make no provision for the flesh to fulfill its list. Pluck out your eye etc. so remove temptation is 100 percent needed backed by scripture. Also not everything is a demon. Sometimes it is a stronghold. Which needs habit change in your life. Rewire the mind.
That's me...sexual addiction and the need for total abstinence and celibacy. I will, by God's grace, overcome this affliction and strive to serve my Lord and Savior Jesus in all things.
I am 22 and have rejected every guy that showed interest in me because all they are after is sex yet I desire to be pure until my wedding night in terms of sex . And have actually realized that being in relationship has actually exposed me to immorality so to stop it I have resorted to praying for the right person whose heart desire is to walk in purity
I tell people that if a pastor preach the truth consistently... He'll surely have audience who loves the truth... This is the kind of preaching I need in my Christian journey
My 2nd time listening to this message of many more times. I’ve been in support groups (Conquer Series), accountability partners, Church support (lol), renouncing strong holds, and tearful repentance. Yet nothing works like understanding our own wickedness and our abuse of God’s Grace. Never to the point of condemnation shall we suffer but to full understanding of our need to have a relationship with Christ. I had to realize that my sexual sin was giving pleasure to demons while seriously & deeply grieving the Holy Spirit. I broke agreements with those strongholds as that demon always brings two or three others. Lying, anger are consistently present created by deep wounds that must be rooted out. God Bless Y’all

I'm 45 been married 3 times, sinned sexually all 3 times and dozens of other times since the 90s.... 2 months ago though, I came back to Christ, committed myself to HIM and have committed to being abstinent until I am married ONE LAST TIME to a Christian woman that is willing to look past my sins from previous times. I have been fighting with lust for 2-3 years now, and I always had the mentality to conquer it. This videos opened my eyes to the truth, I seen the word but my eyes was blinded. Great sermon. This is something that's not openly talked about in church at all. It needs to be dragged out into the light. I'm gonna disagree on one point though and that's the idea that singles should have no free time. I think the ability to sit quietly by yourself in the presence of God is an essential part of being a Christian. The bible literally says, Be still and know that I am God.......if you're afraid of being alone and by yourself you'll always be on the run. You'll always use things and other people to distract yourself. But when that time inevitably comes when nobody is around, you'll fall into temptation easily because you never got comfortable in your own company.

Dear Jesus I pray right now for Ted that you would fill his mind with pure thoughts focused on you. I pray the spirit of lust would leave him in Jesus name. So I am going to be open as much as possible when I say this, I am a gay man. I have come to that conclusion by the thoughts I have and the lusting of other men that I struggle with in my mind. I have been hooked on pornography and masturbation for 17 years + and I have had different encounters with different men. I know God forbids homosexuality. But I have always prayed hard for God to save me and bring me back to his house. I was once a christian for 3 years, but fell away. Now as of about 2 weeks ago between Oct. 17 through the 19th I didn't want to go to porn sites or anything. I have been heavily in my bible, doing quiet times with God, and doing lots of prayer. I have needed help a lot, but has of right now I am on my own. when the urges come and the thoughts come I pray fervently to God to keep me strong and help me not to fall again. I struggle more with purity in this spiritual battle more then anything. Pray for me guys. I will need it.

This message couldn't have come at a better time. I recently prayed and asked God to help me as a single man with my lust of the eyes. Got very specific with my request, when I did that He helped me and answered my prayer. I know this is something need to do daily. Have found the more honest and specific with request my relationship with God improves and feels more connected to Him.

I'm living pure and am not a Virgin. I've repented. And all I need to do is not get a soul tie again. Free from soul tie now because I said no in my heart once I accepted that God said no.
Purity. Desire too little & desire too late. Purity is more than virginity. Can live in virginity but not in purity. Holy Spirit helps. Ps 24. Clean hands. Pure heart. Not pure hands. Cleaness is physical. Pure heart cannot be seen. “Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.” II Timothy 2:22 NKJV PURITY IS A PURSUIT. of Jesus Purity needed to be in Gods presence..pursuing needed without strife self control etc become effortless. Not called to fight lust but to flee lust. Lust is stronger than devil. Connected to flesh inside of you.

Awesome message! I removed all my social media accounts and blocked them on my internet modem so I can’t access the website even if I want to. There’s just too much perversion and it’s too tempting to get wrong ideas and thoughts. I recommend this for young people who have a tough time or just want to remove temptation. God Bless!
This video is so on point. With that said, our parents are our biggest role models and if one is possessed with a demon, then they will encourage their kids to sin and to become inpure unfortunately. With that said, we can still regain that purity. I really wish I waited for the one.
Praise the Lord and thanks Pastor for a clear message about purity than religion, I use to follow the same word of God and it helped me a lot but still I can say I am not prefect and when you preached from this same verse it got attracted which I use to follow when I was an young minister in the church . Such a revelation about purity. Purity is a pursuit and not a stage or mark we pass. I've heard ridiculous definitions of purity, and mostly directed to young people. I am learning a lot, watching from Kenya
