I am feeling The Holy Spirit calling me to look into some teachings through Pastor Lee Cummings. I'm on my way there right now, even though I have not seen or heard of Pastor Cummings, I feel a bond spiritual bond with him because of some things that he spoke of that have also affected my physical life and my spiritual life. Thanks and Blessings, and by the way, I wasn't looking for this video or teaching, but when I saw the thumbnail, I knew it was for me. Thank YOU HOLY SPIRIT!
This was so beautiful. Thank you so much! One point I'd like to add is that the Holy Sprit really is our Counselor (like mentioned in this episode). I spent years in therapy trying to heal from my past, but it made me more bitter, more hateful, and more fearful. But I had an encounter with the Holy Sprit at the Alter, and I was healed. Fully restored. He helped me to forgive and receive all that I was chasing after while in therapy. Praise God. He is so so good.
I totally agree! I went through a season of the darkness of my soul. I had counselling that helped but no freedom. I kept saying that I knew Holy Spirit could free me in a moment. After a process that I obviously needed to learn; the freedom came. In a moment. Holy Spirit has been my constant companion since my salvation in 2006. But He has become my most special confidante and counsellor.
This was awesome but my only question is y’all say all you have to do is ask the Holy Spirit to fill you with all the gifts He has for you and it’s that simple! I’ve asked for years for the fire of the Holy Spirit to fall on me, I’ve asked for the gifts of tongues but nothing happens! I was Catholic for 48 years. Right before my husbands death we both God saved and escaped the Catholic Church. I was 48 years old and had never opened a Bible so I decided to pursue God the rest of my life and learn the Bible! I have done that! I never dated and I am now 72 years old! I long for the fire to fall on me but it’s never happened! I have to say I’ve never been in a church who understood any of this so I’ve never seen it in action except on YT. I believe everything y’all are saying but can’t figure out when I’m alone in my bedroom and I pray for this nothing happens! I would love to be healed and have the gift of healing! Can you guys pray for me to receive all the Holy Spirit has for me? He’s in my heart but I want all of Him! Thank you!

I was saved as a child but was never really taught about the Holy Spirit. I have been watching lots of videos about it in the last few months and I have prayed and asked and actually BEGGED God to fill me with the Holy Spirit, but I don't see or feel any different. What did I do wrong?? I went through a very traumatic experience about 7 months ago and it has rocked me to the core, and I desperately NEED the Holy Spirit to get through this!! I don't understand WHY God has not answered my prayer?

I am so sorry Joni what you have suffered. God will vindicate you. You will see your husband soon enough. Jesus is coming sooner than we think. He comes when we think not. Think of your precious dear husband on a long vacation. He had to go away for business reasons and has to be in top security so he can't talk until Jesus comes. God bless you dear sister. Stay occupied. Fill your mind with Praise to our blessed Lord.

Also, "lay up your treasure in Heaven, for wherever your treasure is there also is your heart". Jesus is the King of Heaven and our greatest treasure, so our heart is set upon Him.
John 1:12 But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God. John 3:3-6 3 Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” 4 Nicodemus said to him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?” 5 Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Acts 2:38 And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. These are a few of the verses. Definitely always study the Bible on your own though. We are only children of God if we receive His Spirit, He doesn't force Himself on us. If everyone had the Spirit of God then everyone would go to Heaven but the Bible tells us only few will enter in.
Joni, it is sad to think many are not in a group that is small enough or open for the gift of tongues. We need pentecostal cell groups in every church where people learn to move in these gifts.
