Wow. My brother just received a summons to the army and asked me to take care of Fumo and wash it if something happened. And here is a video on how to wash it. Thank you.
These are indeed the right steps, but you should definitely be more _gentle_ than what's shown in the video. Except for the washer. Definitely don't throw it in there, although I've heard some people say you can get away with it if you wash it alone with the gentlest of cycles.
@@lotgc in a very general sense, the washing machine can be fine for most things if you use a somewhat gentle setting and cool/cold water (just not hot water) and it might be recommended to air-dry but a gentle setting of an average dryer might be okay but i don't know enough about plushies or fumos to say whether that's fine for them
it's usually not recommended to toss a stuffed animal into a washer. Hand washing is always recommended. But I would never soak the entire plushie under water, that would degrade the stuffing. It's recommended to just use a new soft brush and brush woolite combined with water onto it. Then I repeat again with just water to rinse, then I let it air dry.
Just hand wash with baby shampoo / detergent Cold water and scrub gently with a toothbrush or hand but again gently. Some have parts that you gotta be careful with like kasen fumos with paper arm or idr but reisen and tewi rabbit ears with the metal pieces in the ears. Satori and koishi eyes. Etc.
awh yeah! i got a fumo a few days ago (a reimu) and her hair was terrifyingly bad. thanks for the tut, and I'll dry with towel (i already know not to use a washing machine)
