This is an instructional How-To video for how to wash your JuJuBe and Kipling for the best results! Follow these easy steps and your bag will come out looking great every time!
*Please note, not EVERY stain will come out depending on what the stain is made from, or if you have mold. Most stains are just from dirt and those always come out 100% of the time for me with this method.*

What fabulous results on my Kipling metallic bag. Some chocolate had melted in the side pocket (what a waste!) so a sprayed the OxyClean in the pocket - no rubbing needed. Then I sprayed the bottom of the bag and put it in a mesh bag.Just like new. Thank you for your instructions. Great job.

Hi can you clean the same way with a 100 pencil case from kipling but clean it all of it?

Yes! You just unzip it, pretreat any stubborn spots and wash! Same way as I showed how to wash the JuJuBe :)

Thank you! I have not washed the metallic ones before! If you do decide to try it, make sure you wash in the laundry bag on cold water, Delicate cycle. And never put it in the dryer. Hope that helps!

Vanish is the equivalent in my country. I believe the secret sauce is hydrogen peroxide.

I have a stain on the inside of my Kipling backpack, I was wondering if I flip it inside out to get the stain out or just put it in the pillow case?

Yep! Just turn the bag inside out in this case. Kipling especially is much easier to work with, and turning their bags inside out is pretty simple! I'd still use a mesh bag though :)

hey Kate! is the mesh bag really necessary? i can't just throw it in the washer as is? maybe inside out? i need to wash my bag today and don't have a mesh bag.

Hi! They aren't necessary, but they do protect your bag from rubbing against the sides of the wash and the agitator. Some people use a pillow case instead, but it's no ideal.

Hiya! Thanks for the quick response. I turned my over the shoulder Kipling bag inside out so all the metal hooks and rings didn't bang all on the sides of the washing machine. It came out just fine! Thanks again :)

+madeline pearson Hi! I would suggest using the Oxy Clean Stain Fighter first and use a tooth brush, just keep scrubbing until it looks like it's coming out then put it in the wash. Hopefully you are able to get those stains out! Good luck :)

Hi! Yes, you most certainly can, however for the best results I recommend using this method and the products I have mentioned in this video. I have links for all of the products used in this video in the description box :)

Hi Kate! I have a question. When washing the bags do you have to worry about what color bags are washed together? I need to wash my HK SB in the TT print and want to throw on my Uni be set. I'm scared the red will bleed. Lol TIA!

Hi, Crystal! I have never had any issues with my JJB bleeding onto anything. I think you'll be safe to wash them together :)

Then it should definitely help, assuming the color hasn’t just faded. If it’s just dirty, then you can use this method or you can deep clean it. I have a video up for that as well

The oxiclean you used in your video is no longer sold. Will the new one you linked here, the oxiclean hd spring fresh, be okay on the jujube bags?

An Moreno yes, it works just as well! Just leaves a nice scent behind instead of no scent, but it isn't super noticeable :)

Hi! Yes, you can use literally any detergent you’d like to. I recommend the OxiClean because it’s the most effective on stains.

Hi! Sorry, I am just now seeing this post. Your best bet to get mark out would be to use the Spray I mentioned in the video and then let the case soak in an oxy clean bath for a few hours. Then just run your washing cycle on delicate as usual. Hopefully the mark will come out for you!

Hi! Same technique as what I show here for Kipling bags. If the case is more rigid, I suggest spot cleaning :)

Leanne Green it's preferred to use a mesh laundry bag or a pillow case. It just keeps the bag safer that way :)

Soak your bag in a Vinegar wash overnight, the next day wash it and if it still hasn't come out do the vinegar again. :) Good luck!

Hi, Chrystal :) Just to be on the safe side, I would always only air dry the natural way. It's the best way to make sure your bag is dry all the way through prior to using it again.

Thanks kateschwanke ... I have not received it yet. I will be purchasing it from another momma off of Ebay. She has a doggie and my son is severely allergic so she told me that she washed it and for me to wash it again when I get it! I am still thinking about it. Im on the fence bc I am nervous about my sons allergy. I carry around an EPi-Pen bc of his allergies! :"^( .... Ugh, so unsure but it was priced right for me and I sooooooo want a BFF!

Hello! Love your videos! I am getting a BFF soon (my first JuJuBe bag) and I have recently seen some reviews of people saying the colors fade. Have you had this problem with any of your bags? I wondered if maybe those people washed them too much or put them in the dryer?

Ho Melissa! Thank you for watching my videos! :) The videos you may have watched could have been from two certain prints: Cobalt Blossoms or Onyx Blossoms. Those two prints had a tendency to fade over time. Sun exposure can be a leading cause of fading. I haven't heard of any issues from washing JuJuBe bags though! And I have personally washed a ton of my own bags without any fading. Buy with confidence!

Hmm I have never noticed any folds 🤔 You can try washing your bag to see if it will come out though! You could also email Kipling and see if they have any tips or recommendations
